I would guess the sponsors helped cover the cost of audio gear, servers, bandwidth, etc. to broadcast the shows. I doubt there is any profit to speak of at this stage.

I'm not claiming to know the numbers by any means, but I do know that what has come in has been less than what has gone out. As I said, the internet is a large place, feel free to pony up and do your thing. Weren't you that guy doing some internet TV, you tube 'look at me" thing? Whatever happened to that?

This is a good idea. I'm gonna start my own internet show, but mine will be unique. It won't actually be broadcast on the internet, but we will have a call in line. So, fans can call in (only one at a time) and talk about whatever they want.

I'm gonna call it "iyosmithy"



I'm open for sponsorship offers

In the early ones, we went more towards what he wanted (and what I thought would be good) and I didn't think it was working that well. I also didn't think Kenny was going to be that good to be honest.

There was no compromise that we could work out so we agreed to part ways while we're still friends. I hope he comes on in the future as a guest and offers some insight on things.

As far as this show, we've got some new sponsors that are pumped about things, we're going to have some guests in-studio here and there (that's another thing that sucked. Having PL on the phone) and the show is going to keep going on.

Thanks for chiming in Steve. Have to say that I loved both guys on the show. Their general disdain for each other made the show even more interesting. Kind of like he characters on say the Stern show. The banter is/was priceless.
I can say from experience that both guys are class acts in different ways. Had the pleasure of hanging in the Motoworld pits at Unadilla years ago (full tour, hospitality etc) and Paul was a great host. Also had the pleasure of hanging with Watson (& Deegan) at the Best Western parking lot at Budds back in '97 the night before the national. Both guys took time to speak with us and let us hang while prepping for Sunday. Different dudes, but both good guys. Good luck moving forward.

I completely agree. The sound on Paul's end was horrible. Paul seemed to always be dancing around the fact that he didn't like to travel, and he didn't even go to a lot of the races let alone travel to Vegas for the show? The show needed him in Vegas or they needed to get the ISDN line, but both represent costs both monetary and time related. I understand why he is off the show and Watson is a welcome addition. MOTOSHOW RULES!!!

I haven't listened a second time and there's no reason to: I know exactly how he feels about the forums because I specifically asked him. He enjoys reading them and doesn't take them too seriously.

Reed is a smart racer and probably the most forthcoming of the podium regulars. I was flattered he recognized me.
