Uhhhh... you sure about that date? We are right in the middle of the path where I live. Will be complete darkness for a few minutes. We have a big event planned at our track that weekend. Supposedly the crowds around here are gonna be crazy and most places of employment along with all the schools will be closed that day. Tons of people everywhere they are saying. Gonna be a mad house and Ill be at my favorite place in the world chilling with my moto family. Were gonna set off a huge fireworks display when it gets dark! Im really looking forward to it.

Haha, just realized you meant April 2024 not April 24th

Wasn't total darkness and those who spent big money to come to Erie got ripped off in my opinion. It was kinda cool, but not worth traveling cool. Holy shit did this thread get a lot clipped from it. I thought we were going to turn Erie into the motocross capital of the world instead of the cheap beer and chicken wing capital of the world.

Taking a pic of the PacMan screen doesn't count.

It was cloudy here but it was still an amazing thing to witness. Went to my in laws house and made a little get together out of it . 2 things I noticed ,the birds definitely went silent and tje 5 dogs that were playing all day in the yard all chilled out and laid down well before it went total darkness. I'm glad I got to witness it ,I didn't think it would be that cool to have pitch blackness in the middle of the afternoon.

it was cloudy here also, but they moved just in time for totality - it was an awesome experience.

It was pretty warm, but for the 3-4 minutes that the sun was covered, it dropped 10-15 degrees. We took our kids out of school for it, but went to a field next to the school, it was pretty neat hearing the other children cheering.
