that when RD has a bad race he can still get back up and finish 2nd and when RV has a bad race he can't come through the pack. That right there will cost RV the title.

Actually if Villopoto didn't crash in Atlanta and had finished 2nd were he was running, he would lead by 1 point . So I would say the difference is who gets a better start, they are so even on speed. These 2 are closer than RC, JS and Chad were in supercross. Next year when TC moves up it will be a great 3 way battle. I really like the way all 3 of these guys are real down to earth.

We tend to frown on hindsight speculation here. Villomoto did crash and it was his own fault.

Dungey is 21 points up on RV after tonight and that is all that matters

The diff is RD will be supercross champ after this year and RV gonna have to wait awhile with the heavy hitters coming back next year.

Alrighty then did you listen to Hill TWM ... how he was having a crappy night didnt make any excuses , but then what he said about Dungey threw me .Ryan was upset about him taking his line away......? isnt that racing.. shit do that to many past Champs and you would be on the ground. I know Hill runs around with Lawrence alot , but after hearing him in that interview I have more respect for him than before. Josh has always bin a competitor , riding like that shows alot of heart.. Dungey didnt do an interview that I have seen but it seems a little winey,if all that was said by Hill is true.Villopto would thrown in a wheel and bin gone no crying just racin.

Dungey is gonna loose this title. RV will be the points leader after seattle and Dungey will slowly fall apart. the Nationals will bring hard ache to the kid as week after week he fails to make the podium.

the difference is that RV has 7 wins and RD only has 4 wins...... boths riders have had crashes but the mud in the muffler incident for Villopoto cost him points.
