Anyway, the first thing you naturally do with these things is jump on the bike with it still on the stand to see how they feel. And when you rock back and forth you feel a kind of "progression" as the feet put more weight on the rearward part. It's almost like feeling some mud on the bottom of your boot - you can feel it there, but it doesn't seem to do anything.
I run the +50 class and this week finally raced with these pegs installed. My #1 thing to say is I completely forgot they were there! Transparent is the word that came to mind later. As far as how I ride, I am not a jumper or blitzer but the bike does move around a lot under me. At no time did I even feel the things there - and for me that was a very good thing. They were doing thier job and letting me ride. One other thing I remember is that my feet seamed less "jittery" finding location on the peg. It was a natural fit (for me) but still far enough away to not interfere with the movement of me and the bike.
