I know the Star 450 squeak has been talked about. Did anyone else hear the squeak from Jett's bike last night?

I have been interested in the rebound separation valve. But never go more than three clicks in either direction anyway. What does this thing do, and is it worth trying ? I'm generally happy with my shock. Thanks. P.S. Should I assemble the shaft assembly in oil to prevent air ?

I run them, and my bikes do not squeak. At least that I can tell, while riding them.
I get around the track okay, but I'm no Jett or Eli. Maybe that's the difference.
Thank you something! I don't care about squeaks, I'm due for another service and have never used one. This is the Race Tech version and I know what the brochure says, can't find anyone that will give feedback on whether it's an improvement, or a gimmick.
