Smith was clearly concussed and nearly took out two riders beelining back on the track, along with almost breaking himself off.
Question is, at what point does a rider get black flagged or waved over for endangering other riders due to obvious impairment?
Also, why did Ricky say nothing about it?
I agree 100%, he clearly had difficulties.
Have you ever seen the threads on here where someone claims a rider got concussed and then get absolutely piled on because they don't have a medical degree and didn't do a baseline test first and then a post head knock test afterwoods? No way Ricky is getting involved in that
It's too bad because they supposedly hired him for his experience. I know he knows what it feels like to ride like your head is In a fish bowl and all you want to do is score points so you don't get yelled at.
Wasn't he coming into the race with an "injured - concussion" as well? That second crash where he was just paused out had me thinking black flag too. I don't know who has a birds eye view on things outside the booth in regards to those things, but that should have been an easy fast call from the booth down to the flag. I'm actually surprised nothing was even said, as far as I was tuned in.
