Also, what does a terrorist attack in another country have to do with mass shootings in the USA, unless you want to tie this back into the very real danger of terrorists crossing the border so easily and plotting the same here, but that would be on the Democrats.

They are at war with the Taliban too , but the Taliban don’t have the capability to keep the boot on the throat of ISIS like the Americans could . ISIS bombed the Russian embassy in Kabul in 22 . Taliban and Russia have been becoming friendlier since the American withdrawal and that will now accelerate . The enemy of my enemy .

I think the underlying issue devolving from this ISIS attack in a Russian music venue that you feel becomes the common denominator in all discussions is, if these terrorists were able to breach the Russian border, arm themselves and carry out this horrific mission. What possible chance does the intelligence agencies have to thwart the same kind of attack on American soil with the open border policy that are in place now?
There are 1.3 million tajiks living/working in Russia. They are cheap labor for Russia.
