Please don't lump Q in with the aforementioned idiot. Q at least raises valid concerns and seeks transparency and positive change in society.
Well, Sexton has directly said he is not as fast as last year and they are struggling with a long way to go. They are running secret forks on one bike and nobody can seem to get details on that. Barcia has been very vocal about hating the new chassis and fork change and just wanted to ride last years bike. Competitive yes, but clearly opportunities and Ferrandis has proven to be incredibly hard to please.
new austrian bike does seem to be an example of overengineering IMO. On paper you have a lighter machine with more central rotating mass (more compact engine). However that does not necessarily mean that the bike will be better in a real-world conditions i.e. leaning, scrubbing, general handling. Higher center of gravity with the old engine and chassis may have been practically speaking better for cornering.
Nonetheless, Prado is able to win on the bike in MXGP. Is it really so bad?
450 SX race wins 2024 :
Honda - 5
KTM - 2 with 2 dif riders
Yamaha - 2
Suzuki - 1
Other than Jett it seems like KTM is right there with everyone else. The only brand with 2 dif riders winning SX’s this season

Breaking their contract and swapping tires didn't seem to do the trick. I like the kid, but his results hasn't repairing any of the bridges he has burned. Let's hope he can make something of this opportunity.
Dylan is a badass when he's on it, realllyyyyy hope he can get comfortable and ride to his potential on the Husky.
As for Husky, at least here trying to right the ship by hiring Dylan, god knows that team has been in trouble lately... Besides RJ on the 250.
Their mxgp and us bikes are diff spec, so not really the best comparison
Prado is on a works bike and outdoors is not Supercross
webb won races with the bike last year. none of us really know just how different the mxgp frame is to production . .
Sorry I'm late for the Mensa meeting, what did I miss?
Webb was pretty regretful about about being forced off KTM to race Yamahas?
I thought he left ktm cause he had too much money to be barked at like a dog by a south african.
Did he win on the bike or not?
Maybe Q is just wondering about the $100-200 billion to unknown figures of taxpayer money being sent to ukraine and israel? not a valid concern? you happy letting pedo elites take 30-40% of your income by force and siphoning it off abroad? Q must be real stupid huh to even voice a concern over that . . .
Apparently the two of you have me confused with someone else. I was opining on DF and his past/current/future employment.
he tried to accuse you of being Qanon (as if thats an insult) for saying DF's results have been bad.
Thanks for clearing that up as it seemed to be out of left field.
Not sure what that has to do with my opinion/perspective on DF and his employment.
If he disagrees, that's fine, but after reading the comments in the thread I don't seem to be alone in my opinion, but to each his own.
Regarding the subject matter - Is he "bad"? No, but the people who are writing the checks are the ones that matter and I haven't seen them lining up to push one of their current riders out the door to sign DF, so there's that.
I guess I don't know his personal feelings about the bike or team as well as you, just what I've read or heard in interviews, maybe you have other sources or input? He has stated repeatedly the KTM and team didn't agree with him. I guess you say the team and bike did agree with him and he did like his situation there? Perhaps he was wrong and you were correct? Too bad if he had to leave KTM if it was an ideal situation for him.
Not trying to say I'm an expert on the situation by any means, but from my understanding the Webb/ktm relationship got rocky before the current gen bike even came out. And its pretty undisputed that webb wanted nothing to do with aldon and ktm demanded he go there.
That being said, the ultimate question remains: did Webb win supercross on the current gen ktm or not? I believe he won at least a race last year correct? You really going to take a guy seriously whos bitchin about his bike when he's able to win on it every third or fourth weekend? Of course he's gonna complain on any off night about the bike when he knows he's already on the way out.
plessinger was able to win on the same bike (almost) twice, and i don't see AP as being the most raw speed guy by any means. If those two can win races on the bike, I don't see why ferrandis can't. I see ferrandis as a stronger competitor than AP given the same resources and equipment
