There was no better, more complete movie than this one. Even better with the extra Steve McQueen footage added later.
Intrduced more people to motorcycling from theaters than any other.
And the first video that had that Seth Enslow dude was good; but I threw mine away after a few viewings. Same old shit jump and crash videos. Why didn't they try it on a hardly no suspension Harley like the Evel one; (R I P Evel)??????? Chicken shits. Like Deegan said in CN, he's scoopin up all the two strokes he can. Frickin lightweights.
The original, the best of all time. Only motorcycle video I can still watch over and over.
Old, maybe; real people and real racing; you bet ya. Should be retired-NEVER!!!!
ON ANY SUNDAY. THE GREATEST EVER.

That movie, my local Honda dealer being a mile away and a trip to Unadilla hooked me.
It was cool to see Malcolm in an interview recently.
Still key up "OAS" every 6 months or so.

That's why they sell 75% less dirt bikes today.
Is Bruce Brown still around??? If he is, thanks for the stuff you've done.
Just discovered this site...looks like fun!
I'm a longtime mx buff and look forward to jammin' a bit with you all. And yes, "On Any Sunday" was the greatest motorcycle movie ever made!

I'm a "newbie" myself......Again, a fuked up novice.

Welcome, just be careful if you wander off the block into some of the other neighborhood's here on the mean board. They get love to pounce on new guys.
He was glued to it. Just sat silent watching the whole thing.
Later he said it was probably the best movie he's ever seen.
Smart kid!

"On ANy Sundy Revisited" is great. Done a few years back and catches you up with most of the guys on the original. Pick it up if you can.
I was at the Peoria TT when they were filming OAS. Cool thing was they didn't take over the place. Just a couple guys running around with cameras. Unless you were aware of what they were doing you wouldn't have noticed. I saw them again that year somewhere, either an Inter-AM or Tran-AM at Elkhorn I think. DAmn, getting old is tough on the memory.

Well, odds are I'll probably stay right here. Not to sound like a curmudgeon, but motocross of today isn't really something I can relate to. Thanks for the welcome!

Amen to that....like comparing the old Plymouth Hangtown to the one at Prarie Shitty.....
Bruce Brown's son made both Step Into Liquid and Dust to Glory, and both are incredible.

You could definitely tell he was influenced by the old man. That dry, dead on, observational humor takes it up a level as far as being fun to watch.
