For the record I hope he shows up real bad. I dream of a healthy 450 outdoor gate w/ JS RV BT JG IT RD CR MA AS GL JLaw BHep JH DM Matt Moss .. That's just the top 15. JS being there would just be the icing on a perfect cake.

Yea that would be an awesome season if all those dudes lined up!.....no matter what Ill be at Glen Helen this year .....the outdoors are so much more exciting to watch since it's something anyone that has ridden a MX track even once can relate to.....SX, not too many have ridden a full on SX track in their lifetime

Plus outdoors its balls to the wall hauling ass with a few big leaps here and there but just flat out racing where top speed is unlimited, on a SX track there are the fastest guys but for those guys a SX track can easily be over ridden with disastrous results.

I hope James races the full season he has a few riders that might give him a run for his money .... His perfect season in 2008 was remarkable nontheless but there is some new blood that might be knocking on his door which would make for some awesome racing!

Smart money is on Bubba not being healthy enough to race the Nats, being "very disappointed" about it, and then heading off for a summer of fun. Cool

David hits the nail dead center on the head

Nobody outside of the JS7 camp even knows how far along the broken navicular in his wrist has healed. It's a serious injury and he shouldn't rush back unless he wants to prematurely end his income stream.

All we can do is hope he heals up 100%
Well that makes sense, since it was his scaphoid he broke...Duh...

I guess it's a glass half full or empty thing.

Listening to the interview, it genuinely seems like James wants to race the outdoors and did qualify it by saying if he's healthy, but that's just normal protocol when coming back from an injury.

And like he said, since he's not racing the majority of the SX season, it makes sense this year.
James isnt half full or half empty, he is just over engineered. The guy is a freak!!!

LOL, Big Lenny shows his breathtaking lack of intelligence (again!).

I wonder if he'll try and slide his way out of it with the claim that he was joking and we just don't "get it"?

last year he was only entering events with enough importance to have a rider of his size.......amasx, x-game, usopen and a selected few euro events in sx and mx........
up to now he only won the usopen and wasn't able to even keep up the contracts he was very well paid to race.......even refused to represent his country in the mxdn........
i guess he is now trying to safe an image that he acted like it was sky high, so he goes and says what most fans want to hear...........classic....!!!!!!!!
for me credability is running way low in that camp and i'm not buying all that media drama shit no more.........
i once colected mags and videos of this wonder kid who turned the mx world around for his speed and will to win..........i guess the kid forgot his not alone and there are new and impressive kids coming up also, and all they want is to race.......not be tv stars and show how rich they got.....!!!!!!!
i still keep the mags and vids..........just lost most of the respect.......

The navicular bone is one of the tarsal bones, found in the foot. Its name derives from the bone's resemblance to a small boat, caused by the strongly concave proximal articular surface. The term navicular bone or hand navicular bone was formerly used[1] for the scaphoid bone, one of the carpal bones of the wrist.
It is located on the medial side of the foot, and articulates proximally with the talus, distally with the three cuneiform bones, and occasionally laterally with the cuboid.

That's exactly what I said!!!! It is the same bone and commonly referred to as either the scaphoid or navicular...

http://www.arthroscopy.com/sp04013.htm

Best not to quote Wikipedia sites you'll find... But seeing as i've had a complicated ankle reco and a dodgy wrist stemming from a navicular/scaphoid issue I've heard a few docs tell me what it is...

And lenny... insulting someone's intellect when I so clearly pointed out the lack of yours in another thread, even to the point where you haven't been able to answer is just laughable... laughable...

why the hell is everyone doubting him. It would only be smart to be racing outdoors this year. He's out for most of supercross and he didn't race nationals last year but that's cuz he was too busy being a supercross champ.... His contracts coming up, he's been quoted saying he plans on racing outdoors... there's way too much evidence pointing to it. He loves nationals more than supercross too and he'll prb want the championship bad enough. Plus all his fans would be really dissapointed in him if he didn't. So fuck off all you haters.

I'm not hating at all... but here are some facts..

He pretty much said the same thing last year...

He said there is a good chance he'll be at sacramento

Nothing was said about the whole series...

He then had an interview on MXA after the DMXS thing saying he isn't so sure...

I agree, contract coming up, whatever else... But James ain't gonna struggle for a contract, and i'll put money on him resigning with L&M/San Manuel...

The only thing that makes me think he likely will, is what the hell is Josh Hill doing this summer... His SX season has been good, but not that good that he can take the summer off... Nor would he want to I'm guessing...
