The most prestigious would be the one the riders fear the most, No way will you ever see a American win a MXGP World Championship, they can not even compete with the elite riders of the world in the MXoN losing 12 of the last 13 years.

Well lets see. The reigning MXGP and MX2 champions are coming to race in the US. Name the last AMA rider that won his first 250  or 450 championship then left for Europe.

The most prestigious championship to win- or the most lucrative?

Prestigious: MXGP 450

Lucrative (by far):  SX 450

Which, I would argue, is why all those guys come over. There's no particular love of the tracks they'll be riding - in fact I would argue the opposite is true - there's a love of the potential to become very rich very quickly.

When MXGP phenom Ken Roczen was asked why he came to the US he said it wouldve been easier to stay in Europe, but he wanted to be the best in the world and if you wanted to prove you were the best you had to race in the US.

Supercross. It’s the only correct answer. GP guys come here to chase the sx dream. Prado wanting to come and a few mx2 boys want to as well. America racing is where it’s at.

Sx for me just based on the difficulty.. I think most of us on here could do a lap around a National or MXGP track at a decent pace (not pro level obviously)

Yet, not may of us, myself included could get through a set of whoops, let alone those technical rhythm sections.

Supercross requires a special level of talent.

maybe you can but jeez that would be a challenge for even a decent local pro

Yeah but that’s 1 track out of the series..

How many of us could have gotten around Daytona last weekend?

You're being silly. To be clear, MXGP is the premier outdoor title to win. But no Americans are afraid of a motocross series. They race motocross. You want to talk about being scared, let's talk about the fear GP riders would have at doing 17 rounds on full on supercross tracks.
