Check out this Vintage Mugen bike from Japanese Vintage MX Race. from JP web page, called Off1.

I guess it's 1981 or so ME125, with radiator on triple clamp. I think Mugen came with water-cooled motor before Honda did with production bike, so it might be even older.

and even older Hondas.
Check out Kawasaki with a red tank behind it with a #1 plate. Kawasaki used to be Red, maybe before it got to US.

and some Suzukis, which I have no idea how old. I assume it's from 70's?

These bikes are before my time, so I don't know much. I wish to find photos of Mugen factory bikes from late 80's, with CASIO graphics to share with you guys....

Nice, thanks for sharing.

The Mugen is a single shock, Honda first production single shock was in 1981. The "coke bottle" swingarm was a year or so later, 82 or 83. But, that being said, they got many things years ahead in Japan.

The Suzuki's are a 1973 TM in the back, a 1974 TM in the middle, with forword mounted shocks, and the front one is hard to tell, could be a 1975.

That white Metisse in the background looks interesting. Looks like a single but can't really tell.

The mugen is a 81 ME125 it used the 81 RC125 swingarm (mugen made some parts for factory honda)41mm works showas hand made frame,radators,gas tank a stock kitted 81 shock or a mugen works shock stock 81 bottom end mugen top end stock 81 wheels (front wheel was a stock 81 cr 250)stock 81 side panels and F-R fenders.I have restored 3 of them.Al Baker never sold the 81 mugen"s because the price rose from $4,000 for the 1980 Johnny O' bike to $ 8,000 for the 81 bike.He did sell the power-up kit for the stock 81 CR's.

What's really cool is the 77 RC 125 like Warren Reid raced in the 125 nationals and the 76 sr125 next to the mugen.

:shock::shock: That twin shock Honda....what year is that from??

Check out the pipe...and the tank...and the front hub....and the shocks.

Definitely different than anything I ever had on my '79 CR, aftermarket or otherwise.

The shocks look like the 1980 models, but the front fender and hub look more like '76/'77/'78??

T-Bond has pics of a bunch of works Honda's on his site. Hey Tokio, ever see any of these over there??

Looks like there is one more event in Off-Road Village in Kawagoe, Saitama. 2 hour drive on high way, if you hit no traffic. <img class= " title="Laughing">

Not sure why, but I've always felt this pic looks better than the one you posted. Probably has nothing to do with Erin....[attachment=0:abc69]S83 021.jpg[/attachment:abc69]

I don't have any good pictures of the 80 model here at work. Will see if I can find a few though.
