With regard to Ryan Dungey, Jim...I've followed the kid from the start...have met/talked with him and his mom(Michelle)and his dad(Troy)every year at Washougal. And I can tell you from what others have said, and what I've concluded...there's not an ounce of selfishness/arrogance in Ryan. He is not a temper tandremed brat like others that have come and gone through the sport. And I told his mom and dad that.(Michelle thanked me) Ryan would also find a way to get along with whom ever he would be asked to team with. Even C. Pourcel. That just Ryan.

I have also wondered what the heck is up with Team Honda. Ever since they lost Ricky Carmichael, the last smart move Honda made(excpt BT101)...has struggled to try and regain the motocross dynasty they used to OWN!. Why is it that Honda hasn't GONE AFTER one of the premier riders in the last...10 years(excpt Townley)??

Just watched Daytona and wanted to weigh in on this little debate... Not sure if it has been mentioned...

If you are talking about results...

What are you more impressed with right now... Canard getting a few podiums, Millsaps getting some and a win, or Shorty getting some podiums...

I'd argue it's perception really...

It's amazing that Canard is getting podiums right now, but is he a potential class winner?! What about when Reed, Stewart and all the rest are back?!?

Is that much different to what Davi is doing right now?

And is that not more than what Short has done?

So many people seem so eager to throw Davi under the bus, when realistically he's one of 6 guys who has won a race the last 4 years...

When was the last time Davi won a SX before SD 2010? 2008. 2008 & 2010 were/are both contract years for Davi. Coincidence?

There was the factor of the new bike last year too, so that may have played a role in the off year, but...

Davi is amongst my favorite riders. He has the ability to win ANY race he enters, but doesn't get his head around that fact until he has to, to maintain a place on a factory or legitimate team. That is the issue with Davi - not sure it constitutes throwing him under the bus.

If..."If" there's an in-house (As in "Team Honda"..run outta Torrance...Bldg 500...Business as usual) ... I think Trey is the only name I've seen mentioned in here that might...might...maybe...end up on the Team.

We'll see.

We may be lookin' at an entirely new Honda Team...maybe a new "influx" at an existing Honda team as it takes on the "Lead Role".

Canard , Pourcel both would be great on Team Honda. But remember Davi is only 21 . I also would take a look at Morias.
