Team Honda Truck next year will be Canard and Short...... I honestly don't see Davi sticking around. The reason for Short staying is he's a hard worker like Stanton always was, and he is always in the top 3 of every Championship. With the Exception of this years SX after the injury.....

Only you don't see Canard hanging off the side of the bike still pinned and saving it. Trey is a smooth version of RC but has a huge heart like RC. The kid is amazing on a 450 for sure.

Davi almost caught k-dub at the end of the race, or was i seeing things? lol factory teams are nice to have, but look at what IT is doing on his "privateer" ride.

They won't get rid of Andrew I guarantee you that. Honda loves the HARD working dedicated 150% type. Davi don't have that. The only reason he is riding good is so that he can try and get something somewhere else. He does this all the time when he is on his last year of any 2 year contract. I see Porcel still going to Suzuki and Rockstar footing his part of the bill like they did with Reed last year.

Tedesco's ride is far from a privateer ride......If I remember correctly he still gets most of Factory Yamaha's parts as they are farming out their factory riders efforts. the only thing not factory Yamaha are his showa "A" kit suspension components which are just as good IMO so no I really don't see Tedesco as a privateer he's about as much a privateer as Windham is.

I bet JGR will be making a bid for either Pourcel or Canard. They want to be the premier Yamaha team so look for them to make an aggressive bid. Jake Weimer is also forced up isn't he?

If Team Honda had any sense they would fire the WHOLE crappy team! Kehoe first!

Seriously!! Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha have owned Hondas ass for the last few years on the track, No offense, and I dont want to hear about how I could not race against them, but Millsaps, Short, Tedesco, and everybody else of late have been great guys, but anybody with half a brain knew that they were not at the top of the talent tree.

This can only mean that the Team Manager with the largest budget sucks. Look at Decoster..... He found Dungey, when nobody else even saw him on the radar. He got the GOAT for a few years, and he got an Outdoors Championship out of Reed last year. Mitch Payton is a genius.. He finds the best year after year, But the biggest brand out there gets there ass handed to them by the other 3 smaller guys week after week???

WTF???

Get rid of them all!
Put Windham and Canard in the factory rig, and boot Kehoe to the curb. This is not rocket science!

There's gonna be 5 true potential champs on the market next year. The only one locked is Reed I believe. Villo, Dungey, Stewart and Pourcel are all free agents next year right?

Honda has to get one of them.

I think you hit the nail on the head. I don't think Shorty will be back. I love Shorty and I'm sure the whole Honda squad loves him to but the big wigs at factory honda want to win races and I don't think that will happen with Shorty. I hope I'm wrong though.

In my eyes a guy like Short sells a lot of bikes because of who he is more then his results. It's great PR for a team to have a guy like Short dog around.

I think so too, but it is pretty ironic when you think about it...

They will or might keep Short, who has won nothing, but they have let two of the most dominant riders in the last two decades go... both who had great PR images too...

Not happening. Davi will be riding a privateer bikes or nothing. His factory days are done!! He has maxed his potential. Same goes for Short. They had there shot and there way to much talent in the Lites getting ready to move up.

There is no loyalty when it comes to the OEMs and it's going to take a lot of benjamin$ to hire some of these new up and coming lites riders like CP, TC, and JW. My guess is that Roger would love to get his hands on CP, but Dungey's one of those that has to be the star of the team so he's going to stomp his feet, throw a fit and threaten to leave if they do bring CP on. I don't think Dungey would feel as threatened with Canard and I believe Roger would love to get his hands on Canard.

Wrong,besides Reed,Villopoto and Dungey are signed for 2011 and pretty sure Stewart is or will be soon back to L&M.
So that leaves Pourcel to get signed along with Weimer,Canard etc. as the top level lites riders who are moving up.

WTF is it with you anyway? What a prick you are most of the time! Dungey had the best or one of the best riders in the world as a team mate last year and they still get along great! He is and never was one to be worried about competition and i know this first hand.. He loves it and feeds off it not to mention he is probably the nicest guy i know. RD fears no one and he has proven that over and over, what more do you want out of the guy for crying out loud?

Reed left not because RD ordered it but because of money plain an simple. Ryan looked forward to having Reed as a team mate to ride with in order to lift his game! Damn Jim you have an incredible negative mind and im not just talking about your hatred of Dungey..Brighten up man, you will live longer and have more friends!

I have to agree.OEM's have proven they are not that loyal to riders and with the economy what it is I would think Honda would probably want to try/hire some younger guys with the potential [lites guys moving up] knowing that some current and recent former riders have had their chance and they could get either at about the same $$$.

Stewart will end up back at L & M for sure.

They can pretty much call their own shots there and that's how they like to operate.

No hatred for Dungey but he's one that likes to be a one man show and he has the power to get what he wants. He and CP would not get along and Trey would be a much better fit as a team mate.

mitch is no genius, the only riders he can get are for the lites class. so because of this he can only draw riders from this class.so he either has the top guys from the amateurs, or top overseas world champs, or current lites pros, thats it. he doesnt have to go after them because he knows he has the best stuff and they will beg to be on his team. decoster on the other hand picking dungey up when he was a nobody is a genius
