This post from Kinetic, really got me thinking. These young guys are going pretty fast and Reed hasn't looked as good as he did on the yellow bike.

Where do you think he'll finish?

I really like the guy, hope he does well, it's going to be exciting.

Not going to happen. Outside the top ten for sure. Reed on the Kawi is bad mojo. I could probably beat Reed on the Kawisaki. He looks that bad.

I really don't believe that Chad will end up riding. My hat is off to him for trying but it really hasn't been that long since he broke his hand and Daytona isn't a good place to make a come back.

Well wishes to Chad. He's one tough Ozzy.

put the crack pipe down... this is reed we are talkig about, one of the few that are close to bubba in speed and reed has pain tolerance like no other... top 6 easy....

I would say he will be inside the top ten.... but wont podium and winning is not even a thought unless dungey, villopoto, Canard, mudflaps and hill all get into a pile up and cant start their bikes.

He barely won his own series and has looked like absolute crap in the littlebit of racing we have seen him in over here. Where was he running when he and Stewart came together? How late in the race was it? What a difference a year makes.

Yep that sounds about right if he even races. I think we may see him do practice and feel it out after that but i cannot imagine he could win the thing. But one never knows..

No championship pressure, chommping at the bit to ride and prove himself, a mans man track at daytona the one race all these guys want to perform well at are all reasons that will give chad the extra to put in a stellar performance. I still say podium.

This guys has been riding motocross since he was 3,six weeks off the bike isn't really going to make a difference. I say podium if he decides to race.

Reed's bad day's are better than mosts good days. I honestly am surprised with all the people saying he is gonna be at the back of the pack, and outside of the top 10. If he keeps it on two, then I don't see any less than a top 5 finish for him.

I said might because I think he MIGHT be able to do just that. I don't think it's a given anymore though. The pace is quickening and bubba and Reed have been on the sidelines watching instead of going with it.
