rc vs jake

Guys it's not what Jake said that was disrespectful (shit i agree w/jake actually) it's how Jake said it that was out of line, childish and down right wrong. If you want to say RC was wrong being biased in the booth about Dungey that's fine but you don't say RC sucks off RD.. That's a fckin moronic statement and I expect better from Jake.

I personally don't think Jake or Josh have anything to worry about. RC is from a good hard working family and will take this with a grain of salt. It might even get to to thinking.
then whats wrong with RC saying what he wants...

you said earlier that you agreed with jake and josh...

it goes both ways...

I have actually been enjoying RC, Emig, and Sheheen lately. Maybe the high of live supercross has made me crazy?

Your caps really get the point across.

Show some respect for riders that are a part of this sport and it's all good with me.

BTW... someone brought up the comment RC made about the girls "looking almost as good as a guy"...

well, again i say chicks can't have it both ways... what that comment wasn't "pc"? if they were so equal they wouldn't need their own series, chicks as a whole are not as fast as guys.

It's an OKIE thing. They cannot help it. They are the reddest state in the nation, and one of the poorest, with a high abortion rate, high teen pregnancy rate, high illiteracy rate, and a church on every corner. The are the poster child for hypocrisy and voting against their own self interest.

Jim may suffer from a little bit of Tony Alessi envy. That could be the root cause of his angst.

I can agree with that, but it's live by the sword, and die by the sword.

My guess is that both Josh and Jake will live a long life in this sport.

Weimer has failed to earn any respect Jim. His mere ability to ride a motorcycle does not make him respectful.

You are one hard headed dude. I bet you could back out Trey Jorski into the first turn at 59th and Douglas, and that ain't easy.

Why are you guys all spun up on respect? I think you all are missing the point. I didn't read Grants twit, but I did see Weimers. I personally thought it was unprofessional. Mainly the language, not necessarily the point of the comment. Of course Jake and Josh are entitled to their opinions,as we are all, but I think Weimar saying "suck him off" was very immature and unprofessional in a public forum like twitter. He should save that for his private text buddies. I work for a large publicly held company, and I probably don't make %10 of what Weimer makes, but I know better than to post crap like that in a public forum. It could cost me my job. Mitch should put a beat down on Weimer IMO. These guys make way to much money fror this kind of BS.

Trey gets nothing but respect from this CA born OKIE.

RC is a true moto champion. Not a moto god.

Wait a minute, I might be wrong. He may be a moto god to those who wear a jersey to a supercross.Wink

I've watched all the races on TV, and I don't think RC has been any more biased towards Dungey, than James is towards Hill, or Emig is towards RV, or Shaheen is towards James.

Why aren't Jake and Josh talking trash on Emig, Stewart and Shaheen???

Seems like a personal vendetta towards Dungey (and/or RC) to me...which is pretty childish, not to mention incredibly unprofessional (expressing it in public I mean).

And it makes sense that that vendetta seems to be jealous of the exposure/success Dungey is having. And then to have the GOAT talk him up a bit on TV only rubs salt in the wound.

I mean, I'd totally forgotten about Josh, he's been hurt so long....so while Ryan is winning races, leading the championship and getting all this attention (the "he's the next big thing" attention) Josh is out of the spot light, and probably believes he's better than Ryan and that he deserves that attention...

And Jake is still in the tiddler class...and probably pissed about barely loosing the championship to Dungey last year in SX. And it's gotta hurt that his rival from last year is doing what he's doing.

And they both probably believe Ryan has been "lucky", with the top dogs crashing out (JS, and CR), and RV getting a slow start and then that crash last weekend. So they hate to hear the GOAT talk him up, as it gives credibility to his accomplishments...and that rubs Jake and Josh the wrong way, so they spout off like little kids, trying to discredit what Ryan is doing to calm their jealousy.

Anyway, that's just my long winded theory.

If RC is ever a team manager one day and Weimer is looking for a ride on that team he would be screwed.

I agree with Jmar and others. They are entitled to their opinion and in all honestly the greatest rider ever seems still being paid by Zook and it's painfully obvious.

Emig feeded by Kawasaki? Or him supporting them just a coincidence? Either way he manage to hide the obvious link while RC don't.

I think it's cool that the Grants speak their mind. There are so many liars, suck ups and money whores around so this is refreshing.

Just saying of course!

Well Bobby, I will take my chances and stand my ground. Both Josh and Jake deserve the same respect as anyone else, and to think some motoboard experts are going to spank either one of them is pure bullshit. Especially when they know what both are saying is the truth.

Honesty Bobby,

Who gives a fuck what these clowns think. Most of these clowns can't even think for them selfs.

And Josh and Jake tweeting the exact same thing shows independent thinking to you? Riiiiiiiight....

Ive just realized thet when interviewed, all they talk is about themselves and their team, suck they down!

JMAR, we are talking about TV here, TV is there for the fans to watch, not for the riders, they are suposed to be riding remember? This may be one of the few ocasions a fan is eligible to say STFU to a rider.

It's not like RC is talking nazi shit on TV, if he likes yellow, so be it.

Jake and Josh are both entitled to their opinons as we all are.

Maybe Jake feels that way about RC and he has every right to say it, that's his personal opinion.
Hanging around the track maybe it would be a funny ball busting thing to say among friends.

However;
As an employee of Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki it was unprofessional of him to make that statement in a public forum.
Ability to ride a bike well may not require that someone have instant or lifetime respect but signing it did instantly bind them to a contract as a paid professional.

It would be my opinion that someone from Joe Gibbs Racing had a chat with Grant about being a good representative of his sponsors and that is why it was deleted off his page.

Bingo.

I could give two shits about how well a flat biller rides a dirtbike, I have more 'respect' for that kid who posts here who joined the Coast Guard than some mouthy kid who has sour grapes about Dungey.

I just realized that Twitter has TWIT in it. *giggle*

Weimer's a punk and hasn't earned the right to call out the greatest MX racer to ever throw a leg over a motorcycle. I hope he's enjoying his 10 minutes of fame because they'll be up after he wins the West Lites C-ship. He's gonna get waxed this summer and beyond. Too many fast kids in the 250 class and he'll never be a factor in the 450's.

He needs to remember...all those folks you step on while climbing to the top, are the same ones you see as you make make your way back to the bottom.

With all due respect

I really don't care what Bob thinks.

What do you think?
Do you think that the 125 east and west title is nothing?
I think Wiemer had a poor choice of words, it was disrespectful and vulgar.

I can see why RC fired back, it should have ended there.

I don't think Weimer was wrong though, RC is biased towards Dungey and he should be.

I don't think this apply's anymore honestly. The 250f class is deep and fast on both coasts.

For the last two years, I've found myself more "glued" to the TV for the 250 races than the main. Great racing is great racing, and the lap times aren't that far off between the classes.

I'm nobody to question Bob Hannah, certainly. Agree with him more than not (if that matters to anyone!). But there's a lot of damn good racers in the 250 class.

As long as he is winning races Mitch doesn't care what Jake is saying. The mentality of most here is responsible for things like this. Even though most of you have never met RC, if he were arrested for murder tomorrow, the majority of you would say that there was no way that he could have done it.

Sometimes reality really bites.

Martin really does say things sometimes that are so far over the line, you have to wonder about him. So if Carmichael was arrested for murder tomorrow, "the majority" of the people on here would say there was no way he could have done it?

A. Does he really believe that insane statement or

B. Did he just take an extra large dose of anger pills last night?
