The Deegs, future goat in the making… Im crowning Arlington (The house that webb built)… beastmode showing up and my country brother plessinger… honestly the script writers are writing a hell of a season…barring 250 west, which is boring as shit.
anyhow carry on
I think I smelt a shit eating grin from a certain rider who finished up top.
That was the stereotypical Webb win. Suck in practice, look average in the heat race, and then figure shit out for the main and win a gritty race. He's had a couple of hiccups, but sitting 3 points back before Daytona is about as good of a spot as anyone could've wanted from him.
More importantly, Tomac looked allllll the way back tonight. That was probably the best I've seen him ride since A1 2023. Looked totally in control, throwing his bike around, cutting down in corners, destroying the whoops. If he could just be a bit more consistent with his starts, he could very well go on a podium streak with a few wins (or maybe several).
Jett is still up 3 points

Not sure if you noticed who was on the inside when Eli went down after the triple...
yea we got a gift but yal boiisss betta stop playing with coop 👌🏾🫡
Jett by 3 points over webb. And ap 4 more back.
Jett 135
Webb 132
Ap 128.
I'm sure you can say the same for a lot of these guys. And it's shoulda coulda woulda. But jett had a last lap crash at a2 and 2night has cost himself about 15 points.
And thats tight
McGrath still has 42 guys between him and Jett, I'd say the king rests easy tonight at his palace in La Costa.
Whatever Tomac was doing in Florida worked
Also, big props to AP for staying consistent since his win in SD. To be 3rd in points this far into the season against a field as talented as this is very impressive.
As each year goes by Jeremy's record is more and more impressive. This SX series is no joke! As we've seen time and time again things can go to hell in a handbasket real quick. Bad starts, lappers, weather, and crashes. 44 winners out there tonight competing.
If anyone had AP seven points out of first going into round seven before the season started, they might want to buy a lottery ticket.
I don't have a problem with what Jett did. He ran webb down in a lap. Let him know he's still got him easily covered on speed and he still has the points lead. So sure, enjoy your win....
All I can think about watching Eli is the Toby Keith song As Good As I Once Was.
Sexton has dropped anchor halfway through the last two races. It's not a speed issue and it's not a fitness issue so it's gotta be the hand.
Assuming health, etc.... Jett is still going to have this wrapped up heading into the last round. Not what I want to see, but can't deny reality.
Yup, in front of a lot big names and popularly declared championship contenders. What a great year of racing so far. This is what everyone has been expecting with all these names and "the deepest field ever" and now it's finally playing out how we wished. It is continually getting "deeper" because none of these guys are retiring but seemingly not losing top end speed either.
It's going to be really interesting to see who shows up for the outdoor title if all these guys are in the title fight late into SX.
Jett.
Ah, don’t let facts spoil the Vital party

Pit Row
Man, hope forkner is ok. I thought that track would be vanilla like Detroit, it delivered some great racing though, I was wrong.
also hope swoll is ok also
Arlington delivered and I'm all wound up now for Daytona. Hats off to Tomac, he is back.
Spare a thought for Forkner and my fingers are crossed that he will be ok.
This is Webb's 2nd win of the year. Still 5 winners but now in 7 rounds.
Yup, he hit that concrete hard which brings me to question why Feld don't lay mattresses down on the concrete?
How many times have we seen riders fly off and land on the concrete? How many more dudes have to pound into the concrete before they lay some safety down?
I got ahead of myself. It felt like Eli won the race 🙂
Man, I know Friese was just racing but damn moth to a flame type of deal. Even if he’s doing everything right, he is still caught up in the action.
Forkner’s crash was downright scary. I’m glad to see him up.
I hope feld learns from this, that could have been wayyyy worse. I can’t believe he walked off
The racing throughout the evening was effing awesome, I woke my wife and daughters up when Forkner went down. I forget that it's like 3:30 am in the morning,
Wishing for the best possible outcome for Swoll and Forkner.
In the "Forkner" thread, someone mentioned wrestling mats. I think that would be a great idea. Soft enough to cushion a crash landing, but not so soft that if a guy rides off the track his wheels will get bogged down and slow him down.
Remember when Webb landed on the concrete a few years ago? Wake up somebody! Safety first
I was literally about to post this
How many days until Daytona? Here in the arsehole of Africa it's gonna feel like two weeks.
It's been years since I've been this excited for a SX series and Daytona is a special place which always presents a first class track for racing. With the current amount of fast dudes we can expect another treat.
