I bet Suzuki Japan could give two shits what Kenny does on Saturday nights, which is damn sad!

We just need Kerry Harris Satellite to get a sponsorship going with HEP and all will be right in the world Laughing

The general audience still doesn't realize that a bike off the showroom floor can get last place in shootouts but also not be far off from being a very comfortable and competitive bike.

An RMZ isn't going to hurt your chances at a C class championship, it's your garbage riding that is hindering you. Whistling

I'm really glad Roczen got on this bike and is enjoying it because if he didn't, the same 2nd and 3rd tier riders would be getting on the bike, underperforming and then throwing the bike under the bus all while telling the media if they get a chance on a better platform then they'll surely perform better.

*edit* I also thought it was rad on the Glendale program that they gave credit to Chiz for helping Kenny develop the bike and get good settings.

I honestly don't think my 350 with a big money spring fork conversion allows my big ass to go any faster than a stock RMZ with a cheaper respring and revalve. Power is a non-issue. I'm not using everything the 350 has anyhow.

Ya, it's funny how different styles of riders require different bike characteristics and that's why it's cool we have such an assortment to choose from. I have a ton of fun on my modified 250 and can ride it rather aggressively. Put me on a high power 450 and the bike starts to ride me.

Roczen won 7 450 SX mains for RCH Suzuki during the 2015 and 16 seasons along with 10 MX National wins.

Thanks for that info... I remembered the Nationals...just not SX.

I guess there must be some inside joke about the 1st win for Ken/Suzuki post then.

With the bikes now days I believe it’s more like 98% rider ..all of us have our preferences, some just have way to high of expectations thinking the bike should set up for them from the factory , then I think some ppl listen to and follow media shootouts and if the media says something then Joe blow “felt it when he rode one  too” once Suzuki gets electric start the talking will minimize …any bike can be Taylor’d to you …but some ppl get lost in the sauce chasing clickers and “valving “  that they lose how the bike felt when it was pretty good and they wanted better … nothing is going to feel good  100% of the track … it’s a give take and ppl don’t understand that and that’s ok that’s what makes aftermarket parts sales … oh and doesn’t matter what us on vital ride Carson brown can still beat all of us on a 1986 Cr 125

I’ve been kickstarting bikes for quite some time. From a 50 mini trail to a CR 500. It doesn’t really make a difference to me 🙃 Even if Suzuki added the magic button, people will always find something to complain about.
As far as motors go, I think all 450’s are pretty damn close. Here’s a 2014 I had awhile. I just found I preferred 2 strokes.

Serious questions about the RMZ 450 - Keefer and MXA both rode Kenny’s bike and raved about it. This is a production based bike of course with a lot of fine tuning, but from what I read it didn’t seem like it had a significant amount of unobtanium.

Question 1: Would Kenny’s bike win any of the media shootouts against stock bikes?

Question 2: Why can’t Suzuki just do some of those mods to the stock package?!? ECU spec, slipper clutch, better fork settings and probably a different shock? None of those require retooling and the R&D is already done. Everyone rags on Suzuki for lack of estart but if the package can be made so good by a team that isn’t even full factory, it really seems like Suzuki could dial that bike in for the masses relatively easy and sell a lot more bikes. Heck the other brands have even gotten heavier in the current generations, which closes the longstanding weight gap as well.

Question 3: How awesome is it to see Tyler back?!?

Kenny is in the best position on the grid.  If he wins, it's all about him.  If he loses, it's all about the bike.  That's called getting your cake and eating it too.

Didn't Bogle quit SX racing because the bike is "uncompetitive?"

Question 1: Yes

Question 2: They should. They need to lose weight, add a button, get rid of the BFRC shock and update the suspension settings/springs, and they'd be back

Question 3: Yes

1) Yes

2) I think its already set-up for the masses (other than the button). People who mod there bikes, will always mod their bikes.

3) Cool

Honestly, I'm lost....   Someone posted about Kens 1st win with Suzuki which I thought was funny because it wasn't.

A number of cryptic posts after that and talk about some member coming back....there has to be some back story I'm not privy to.
