Chris, you got my vote and great story..I could only hope I could be half as strong as you in the event something like that was to happen to me..

I do have a questions for you that need to be answered for me and thousands of other racers around the world...

Were you wearing a neck brace? and if you were what kind was it?

If not..whats are your thoughts?

Chris my man.....that was an awesome read my friend! being a racer/rider myself that has had some numerous injuries as well......I can appreciate everything you wrote. I wish you the best man , and also hope you continue to post here on Vital. I think you would be a breath of fresh air to be honest. Take care of yourself man! BTW.....I VOTED!

hi there, believe oit or not i had pre ordered the very first batch of Leatt braces available from BTO Sports. i am from Northern Ireland and the USA was the first place to get them, for me it was a few weeks too late!!
Any rider dumb enough to ride without all the protection available, needs to seriously reavaulate their future!!

One good thing that came of this, is that almost all our local riders in N.I. now wear them.
I believe it should be compulsory, as for my helmet it saved my life. It was $400
I ask everyone now have you got a $50 head or a $400 head? you decide? Go for the best out there, TRUST ME ITS WORTH IT!!
