"in the mud" being the key part here I guess.
Still think Hunter should have been docked but that doesn't mean that Anderson should not have

So because it's muddy you can skip sections of the track?  Hunter should have been docked and Jason as well....but it should have been the same.

Anderson has been a long history of gaining an advantage off the track, and been penalized multiple times, if Hunter keeps doing it, he will likely...

Ah, so someone breaks the rules multiple times in one race and all is good since they don't have a "history" of doing it.  Makes sense.

I was there Hombre didn't gain any time, He would have gone through those whoops a lot faster if he didn't fall. he gassed it a little then slowed and entered the track in dead last. Passed his way up to 7th. I think there is politics involved, Yamaha in bed with AMA.

Though I am an Eli & Cooper fan, Anderson put on one hell of a ride in all 3 races.

He didn’t pass anyone. I’m confused why he was docked this time and the slew of riders intentionally cutting the whoops in the mud in previous rounds got nothing.

He gained time, and didn’t ride slow off the track , the penalty is number of positions gained plus 1

I guess being in last place isn't penalty enough.

How does one re-enter a set of whoops safely? I’ll wait for the explanation. i don’t understand how anyone that has ever ridden on anything larger than 2 foot tall whoops let alone professional level SX whoops thinks you can enter the whoop section from the side safely, probably the same folks that think jumping three jumps is a quad.

What??? go to 1:26 on this video, he has a complete bike length of space that he could have turned left and gotten back on the track(yes that's enough space, he's a pro). He was in last, there was no traffic...he could have jumped back on and rolled the whoops safely...instead he skipped the whoops without a thought and gave her the beans...penalty, simple...
