He has been racing in Mass since he was a little kid and he was really fast on 80s. Good for him to make the main on his first race.

He spent the last few months in CA...... saw him at the public SX tracks on a regular basis. Also saw him at the Kawi Race of Champions in Oct. He did not impress me till last night in his heat race. Looks like he's figured it out.

Yup Jimmy is a local New England guy that has been fast around here for a long time.
We have been watching him race since he was riding the 65 class.

Last year he raced a few pro nationals full on privateer and then he went out west to train with Ryno over the past winter.

My son and I were losing our minds when he made that pass into the lead in the heat race.

Very cool to see him doing well.

Yeah, I saw him at KROC and several NE races...great rider for sure. He has had some great battles with AJ Catanzero in New England and KROC. If I was AJ, last night would have put a spotlight on what is possible and begin to make the move.

AJ is planning on maybe making an SX towards the end of the series.
Since he got a pretty good ride for Arenacross with the GPF team they wanted to concentrate on that series first.

AJ and his dad thought it would be smart to get a little bit of seasoning in the AX series before trying for SX.
These days you may not get another look if people think you aren't ready so AJ is being smart and doing it right.

Sweet pics..........differant lap though, look at the mud under the front fenders.

Back on topic though, when he made the pass in the heat race my wife turned and asked who the hell is this kid and why dont he have a ride?

He for sure caught some attention....I hope he keeps it up.
