No, definitely not. They both tossed it in the deep stuff.
What happened to Eli? I am hearing a couple different things, but the broadcast only showed the aftermath.
Did he crash because off Craig? Saw Craig was infront off Eli on the opening lap and was down a jump before Eli was standing.
I thought maybe Tomac and Justin Cooper crashed together.

Im not sure what my takeaway is, but I noticed Eli was constantly pushing forward after all the BS. Webb had some words at the presser, but I feel like we were cut short of a Beastmode episode where he goes from 1 lap down to winning with about 6min on the clock
This seems like a make-or-break year for Malcolm, luck has not been on his side.
I have been searching for video or any info on how ET3 ended up on the ground - I read in a vital thread that Christian Craig cross rutted and went sideways, and that ET3 was in the air and they came together.
Is there anybody who was at San Diego and saw what happened?
I had read, maybe in the race thread, that Eli landed on Craig's bike when he went down. Not sure how accurate that is though.
Is it luck or has he caused two first lap incidents (A1 and SD)? I don't know if he caused them, but without looking I believe he was involved with both incidents on the first section after the first turn. As for SF, I believe he had bad luck before the 1st turn, but then went off track again and got stuck.
Basically Craig got sideways and veered right into Tomac's line. I captured it on video.
Thanks, Good lord, Craig. WTF are you doing?!!
Wow, Eli is lucky he's not hurt.
Love that Craig said he got landed on by another rider, implying he was the victim in this 😂
In the dam way, then he quits…
Looks like he cased that jump and the impact sent him to the right into Tomacs line…
Do you really expect ANYTHING else from him? The bar is low.
Edit: using lap chart it looks like Christian crossed in front of ET3 on lap 1 taking them both down - Tomac in 9th, Christian in 8th, Fernandez in 7th, Anderson in 6th, Webb in 5th, J Coop in 4th, AP in 3rd, Barcia in 2nd, and Kroc in 1st. Tomac restarted in 20th
Seriously! Haha said it like some jabroni landed on him that’s why he fell. Typical Craig fashion. I knew there was more to the story
Pit Row
Not to derail this thread, but I have a legitimate question. An independent dude posts a YouTube clip HE created, I have YouTube Premium, and yet I still can't watch the video without an ad, or even have it open in the YouTube app before watching the ad. How is it legit for Vital to get ad revenue from a video they don't even post?
CC loves to play the victim, all the adversity shit…. m8 you got a factory 250 ride because of your wife…. You’re the furtherest thing from an underdog out there. Give it up. I’m over it.
The ad is served up by VitalMX video player trickery, then it redirects to youtube.
My eyes just rolled out the back of my head when I set up this video and was hit with a 20 second commercial. WTF. I feel you...
Unlucky Craig took him out, but yeah, lucky he's not hurt and "only" 12 points down.
Thanks for the video! Nice to know what actually happened.
Yeah, I believe the ad is just for Vital supporting the embedded video link. I personally don't monetize or publicly list my vids on YT. It's just a hobby, and occasionally I'll share a clip if it was missed on the broadcast or something.
