Reed had a fucked up foot (from 2 stroke Straight Rhythm incident) and barely rode the bike before A1. He had no business trying to race the first 2 months of that year and he was only out there to satisfy a few sponsors. And as pointed out, the Husky won the SX title in 2018 and an orange Husky won it in 2015/16/17 and 2019.
Husky should call up Star to inquire if the red flashlight they had for CC is still laying around and is available for purchase
Is that true or speculation?
This ain't NASCAR. You don't pull into the pits for a check up from the neck up.

His wife’s about to chime in here guys, settle down now
Confirmed true. I want to say they talked about it on the whiskey throttle episode where they interviewed all of Star’s management (Bobby, Brad, etc…)
Can somebody produce evidence of this quitting trend from Christian?
I'm a super fan of the sport and have never thought this. I am perplexed and eager to understand where you guys are coming from.
Provide a link. Don't speculate
I try not to bag on any of the riders much because it’s just dirtbike racing but holy shit I can not stand Christian Craig. Entitled spoiled brat comes to mind among other ways of describing what I’ve seen from him over the last 5 years or so
It’s not speculation. It’s well known he had that clause built into his contract. I’ll listen though the entire podcast with Bobby and post the link and time he says it, so you can listen for yourself.
You don't understand the adversity they have faced.
Y’all may not agree with this, but I think CC will smooth out and start getting better/ more consistent results. It takes (mostly) everyone a few seasons to adjust.
He's also 32yrs old. I know we're seeing a lot of riders hitting the big 3-0 and still hauling the mail. But we're talking Tomac, Ando, Barcia. Craig never had their speed in sx to begin with. He's a 10-15th place guy.
Be specific
Hey I know he built homes for his father in laws business and took off work time to fill in for GEICO Honda when needed man. Skip a pay check to hope you get a ride
I believe Christian Craig is related to the Star racing team manager. Craigs SX championship season he rode really well and deserved the factory ride
At San Diego, Christian cased a jump and shot off the track at a right angle to the straight away. Tomac was in the air and landed on Craig, whose bike was sideways.
Unfortunate racing incident with no malice. Bummer for everybody involved
There are lots of 250 champs that don’t make it in 450s. Its the top level of the sport and not equal to 250s. Look at Dylan’s struggles and now he is doing pretty good. Maybe he needs a change of scenery.
Isn’t KTM an Austrian bike? Last I checked they have won 2/3 rounds and are running 1-2 in the Championship
Pit Row
off road riding hardly even exists in other parts of the country.
spoken like a true flatlander.
Dylan's doing worse this year than last year, but his bike's soooo much better 😂

2024: 5-6-6
I'd say they're pretty comparable given two of the races have been mud rounds this year. Not to mention the late start in testing heading into 2024.
Craig has to be one of the biggest headcases I've ever seen, it's at a point where if the wind is blowing the wrong direction he self destructs.
In his 250 championship years he almost self sabotaged himself multiple times, if there was another fast guy with him he would crumble.
IMO, he's fortunate that Nichols got hurt the year he won his title.
Agreed.
He's lucky Hunter had that DNF....
