So all you Democrats, how does not having Primaries work for you.

Your leaders have decided that Sleepy Joe is getting all the Delegate votes for Florida , and other states are set to follow suit.

So what if you actually had an alternative, that you wanted to vote for , how does that work ?

It's the end of democracy I tell you, the end of democracy. Trump is the first successful person that the public

had a choice of, that was not selected by the Cabal. That's why it's so important that he fail.

Aside from Trump, Ross Perot, but he was unsuccessful. We only ever get to choose from whom they let us.

biden will go back into hiding.

So we'll all miss seeing him do the fake jog out on stage in order to mumble something about "maga/trump bad", then have wifey escort him offstage in the right direction, hopefully without tripping.

And now suddenly camela is making the rounds on the view, and other friendly venues, to toss out her word salads.

That's about all we're going to get.

The media will campaign for him.

This thread is a great example of why many of us liberal folks stay out of non-moto and or have left this place for good.

If you wanted to have a real discussion about democrat primaries you would have given us more options than, "he's a great choice" and "a threat to democracy", but you didn't want to start a conversation, you wanted to try and sneak in a little jab before the bell.

To be honest, even over on the homeless thread, you’ve started out by taking jabs and then you came in here and started bitching about things…all without laying out any useful solutions.

I’m jus’ sayin’…

Oh, without a doubt I did. I saw a bunch of dudes ganging up on a guy and decided to jump in to fend them off a bit.

As far as my opinions on homelessness – as someone who's wife works in the field (and personally volunteers quite often) – I can say you're all wrong basically about everything on the subject... but I know this place well enough to know that no matter what I say, it'll fall on deaf ears, some people will resort to personal attacks because they can't defend their half baked ideas and attack my character, blah blah blah, the thread will sink to the bottom of the sea and then when it's time for non-moto's next, "what the fuck is going on with homelessness" period comes around it'll float back up, you'll all say the same shit over again, and the cycle with continue until you're all dead.

That doesn't make what I say about this thread incorrect though. You want people to engage in real conversation, open it up properly. What happened here would basically be me saying, "So you Trump voters, politically, what do you think he's best at, cheating on his wife(s) or smattering his face with bronzer?"

Even your central theme, here, is presumptive and full of pointless virtue signaling.

“I can say you're all wrong basically about everything on the subject“…all because your wife works in “the homelessness industrial complex of California”…? Then, you go on about your selfless volunteering while inferring more about others making personal attacks, etc. Hence, false virtue signaling based in some sort of modern liberal virtue signalers superiority complex.

Dude, you are doing the EXACT SAME SHIT THAT YOU ARE BITCHING ABOUT.

All the while, I did open up some dialogue and reference some articles in the other thread where we’re “all wrong” and were actually discussing the matter.

When you leave, again. It will be completely of your own undoing as referenced here.

I mention my wife has worked in the field for a long while, as have I volunteering, and (as predicted) you resort to petty insults like "virtue signaling" and 'my wife's experience means nothing because it's part of "the homeless industrial complex of California"'.

God damn you non-moto fella's have become a bunch of fragile sum'a'bitches; I thought that was the liberal's deal?

Hahahaha. If you – a total rando on the internet – can find a way to "undo me", I'll donate $1,000 to your favorite charity. That said, what's your favorite charity, I can send them a few bucks... unless of course that is somehow me virtue signaling again, then I guess your favorite charity can stuff it. EDIT: It's gotta be a real charity, no TRUMP / MAGA scam shit.

Who's gonna primary him? Marianne Williamson is a whack job grifter and dean Phillips is disqualified because this exchange tells you who he is.

I am intrigued to see what the Democrats do. I do not see a legitimate candidate. The more worrisome point of interest to me is the huge divide within the party. Sure, blue still votes blue. But they have alienated how many young candidates for the establishment.

I want to know why there isnt even an alternative,if there was someone who should be considered , why cant they be. ?

And then you get MSNBC not reporting Trump winning Iowa, it almost looks like a dictatorship.

If it was anywhere else , America would be invading.

A party holding a primary when they have a sitting president is very very rare, it's an artifact of our 2 party system. This kind of talk is a ploy to attack Biden from the left and the right (he gets alot of grief from the left already). We've seen trump get attacked from the right by DeSantis this year and the republican talking heads are jealous.

More than likely, the only way Trump loses is if Haley somehow makes it through and then they will oust Trump. Dems I am confused with…. Newsome Is the knight in armor but he is not well received by many. So what are they going to do? Biden can’t do 4 more years.

This year's republican primary has clearly been a ploy for political consultants to make money.

Gotta get that suburban housewife vote. She recently did an interview stating that government “NEEDS” them. I about spat my water out. They lied to every single American and then cashed in to Martha’s Vineyard for $15million. Not too shabby for a career politician whose average income was 250k.

I'm somewhat encouraged by the recent move toward anti-establishment candidates. We have ol' "drain the swamp" Trump, who clearly ruffles feathers among the elite, and recently Robert Kennedy dropped the Dems like a hot potato and is campaigning on his own. I hope the trend will continue and sometime in the future we'll have more nuanced choices among presidential opponents. A true 3-way battle would be nice to start.

My biggest worry for this country is that things will continue down the path of "MY side is the only one which is right, and the other is the DEVIL!" This black and white, good vs. evil, win at all costs mentality is turning our political system into a game. It's now a game about winning, not a profession of fixing problems and running the country. Meanwhile, the disasters continue to pile up and each side finds a clever way of blaming the other. If they spent half the amount of time fixing the problems instead, this would be a damn great place to live again.

This whole thread is fake news.

Technically there was a 2020 republican primary but not alot of competition.

Screenshot 20240118 121459 Chrome.jpg?VersionId=hpEF8qdBsHhB22 9dD5Cgv6R

What you are probably remembering was the commentary during the RNC convention that they would not issue a party platform before the general election, their official position was whatever trump says goes.

Screenshot 20240118 121251 Drive

Also, there will be a 2024 democratic primary, although with little competition. The controversy being blown up is that the DNC wanted to move the first primary to South Carolina and New Hampshire didn't like that so they are holding their primary anyway, but Biden won't be on the ballot, although I wouldn't be surprised if he wins it with write-ins.

I have heard that should they try to slide him in instead of allowing a vote should Joe's demntia get worse because of Kennedy originally trying to run and now having to run as an independent. That can be seen as rigging, interference in an election and other things. They might be tied to ol Joe now wether they want him or not.

I'm not even gonna comment on your stupid ploy comment.  Seriously that's dumb. Your not that dumb. I belive anyways.

This whole thread is fake news.

Technically there was a 2020 republican primary but not alot of competition.

What you are probably remembering was the commentary during the RNC convention that they would not issue a party platform before the general election, their official position was whatever trump says goes.

You know hat's deceptive at best. 2020 was not a normal year, exceptions never make for a good rule. But even so, had the Covid never happened, Trump was so popular nobody had a chance in the Republican party to challenge him.

Very different than challenging and debating a dementia riddled too old sack of shit.

The only reason they are not having primaries, when they give the boot to Old Man Joe, they can place whoever they want on the ballot (think Michelle) instead of having to palace someone from the primary voting process. Of course with their "super delegates" they do that anyway don't they? They might be afraid that Joe won't even make it through his own primary process, he's that bad.

Need the Electoral College to go before we can truly have a three way race (or more). All Perot did in 92 was hand the election to Clinton and all Teddy did in 1912 is hand the election to Wilson.
