Which rider do you think has understood and engaged this whole new social media way of connecting with their fans?, either by using Facebook, Twitter, or their own website blogs etc.
Was looking today at Andrew Short's website and he seems to have a handle on it with some great videos!
Who else do you think properly conects with their fanbase?

Also, don't forget about DV934, he was there at the beginning with his website.

Social media is a very powerfull tool when used correctly.
Short is doing really good.
Grant, Carmichael, Dungey, and many others are doing well with it.
Haven't seen much from Stewart's Twitter updates lately though other than a shout to the Saint's SB win.
Sean Hamblin also is usually the first one here to add knowledge and understanding from a riders perspective which I appreciate coming from the Midwest. I do not have the "inner circle" info and when a rider comes on here or facebook etc it is refreshing point of view.
Exactly, thats what its all about, the guy or gal who doesnt have rider "connects" but is really enthused about the sport and really has no other way of gleaning information other than the TV or internet. so i think the more accesible one makes their "super star persona" the better it is in the long run for everyone, side note, its not so much the riders that attract me as much as it is the goings on behind the scenes and the bikes, . riders arent really turned on by other riders, well not this rider anyway.
Just got to set up a date.
He's in CA now getting ready for Indy.
