JT USA vintage mx gear

 I sent 3 different emails concerning size question for shorts, did not receive any responses. That in itself showed me that they are not much concerned in customer support. A lot of us older folks would love to support their continued efforts in JT gear, but I think they are now ran by a group which doesn't give much of AF......kinda like how the last owner became before dumping the company.

Probably means the product is junk too.   Sad what's become of a once great icon.

You guys are going about this the wrong way!  Whoever owns JT’s name now has the pants and jerseys made by ProStyleMX.com / AMGear.com / LinemanMX.com.

They fulfill orders for JT, Fly and others, according to the tracking email you get when your order is shipped.  I’ll try to post a screenshot below.

I’m an old JT junkie, so I couldn’t resist giving them a try when the new incarnation came along and offered the retro Honda gear.  When I got an email from Lineman an out my order being ready for shipment, I tracked down the AM Gear website and sent them a message about getting the jersey lettered and numbered.  If I recall correctly, I believe they told me the order was already shipped but I could send the jersey back at my expense but they would cover the shipping back to me after I paid for the printing.  I have placed a couple more orders since then and even had them make a custom pair of the Honda pants in black to match the black and whit jersey they came out with.

i have to admit I have not ridden in the gear yet because of other stuff going on in my life over the last 6 months or so (haven’t ridden at all) since I placed the first order.  However, the sizing is good and consistent with what I normally wear (32 waist / Lg jersey).  Pants are stretchy material and fit over knee braces comfortably.

Can’t tell you the guys name ( never got it) at Lineman MX but I have texted back and forth with him a fair amount and he is great to work with.  Might take a day or so for him to respond but he will respond.  He told me the name of one of the privateers that was helping develop the gear but I can’t remember the name at the moment.

i will say don’t bother with the gloves from JT.  Apparently those are sourced from somewhere else and they’re not up to modern day standards.

Sorry for the novel but if you’re a fan of JT, give them a chance.  Yes, the JT website is a little on the cheesy side but I’ve found that once you get to the fulfillment side and communicate with the Lineman people, you’ll be happy.

JT should reproduce the retro gear. These are original pants and eBay repop jersey. Jersey is actually really nice quality and color pretty close.
