Back then we taped it off at 110 feet. It was like a jumping a big tabletop. We were jumping it one time with Tommy Clowers and he clipped the concrete on the landing and bounced to the bottom sideways and pulled it off..tacoed his rear wheel and broke the swingarm on his bike..We were laughing <img class= " title="Laughing">

We were jumping it once and this guy in a POS pre runner decides he can make it.

Nosed it right into the water.

Its going down he canal and some guys with truck helped him hook on so it wouldnt sink all the way or keep going down the canal(It wasnt as full as that pic...maybe 6 feet of concrete showing) and that canal flows fast..

Anyway, this was in February and that water is like ice water. This guy keeps diving down and dicking with the truck.

Turns out he was trying to get his bag of dope out of the glovebox.

[quote="ocscottie":7fa29]Is this the same canal?

Yep thats the same one..Its a lot shorter now than it was 10-15 years ago. I think its right 90' now. The dirt landing on both sides has eroded away over the years.

Just a local guy from S.D.??

He was a pretty big name in Baja for many years.

I guess he's doing one of the minor-league NASCAR series nowadays, but what a NUT!!

And Scotty, You're a fuckin' NUT too!!

Nice pic.
