hey guys,
I am a forty year old vet c rider and Sales manager of Power Yamaha Motorsports in Sublimity, Oregon. I really want to come to Florida and ride the Dayton Amateur Supercross and do the Ricky Carmichael School but it costs too much to ship my bike round trip . I currently ride a 09 and 2010 YZ450f. If anybody in the area has a bike I can use for a couple of days, i would be happy to compensate you.......new set of riding gear, or new helmet, or something???? would be glad to leave cash deposit for any damage.........shoot me an email if your interested jonjolley@yahoo.com

i have a track at my house and it rains alot up in here in the Northwest
Bet you have a cool custom painted helmet also.
I run a construction company, so I know all about liability insurances, and workmens comp and the whole nine, even still the numbers he was dropping on me was a real eye opener.
What was particularly interesting is even though the tracks he runs his school at (in the North East anyway) are fully insured, the second he goes out to teach a class, he has to have insurance for everything as if he was holding a race, right down to the track conditions, and grooming. If the track has a spot where a rider gets hurt, he technically could be sued for it! Nuts man, nuts. And forget about the minor release non sense.
Our sue happy society has really taken it's toll on the sport we love. IMO
just a suggestion with bike sales the way they are now and even worse in florida I would bet that a local bike shop would rent you a nice used bike for what your wanting to do.wish I could help but im flying to daytona my self no bike this trip.
I have a 2010 yz450 that I may be willing to rent for the 2 days.Shoot me an email at crf50rider275@yahoo.com

I can certainly afford to ship one there, it just seems silly to waste that much money on shipping a bike down there just for the weekend........
Its people like you and your useless comments, that keep people like me from posting. I enjoy reading the forums but don't usually see the need to post and get in a pissing match with people like you.......but have a nice day
Good luck in your race, post up some pics and a race report when you get home.
