Jan 1st. Some sort of auto renewal? No advance notice, heads up or even a confirmation email or anything. Just a ding to my credit card.
They haven't even posted any news since November 27

I don’t think I have ever been warned, had confirmation, or been given heads up that auto renewal for a subscription was either turned on or about to renew. Standard practice from companies is to hope customers forget. I now turn that shit off as soon as I subscribe to something. Hope you can get a refund, that’s on you, though.

In addition to existing requirements, businesses now must provide a notice before a trial period ends that tells the consumer the term will automatically renew and how to cancel. I agree that I should have sorted it. However, this is what I got for the SMX package. Notice in early Nov that it was renewing on Dec 1st. That's the way you do it! Not to mention, as Sparling said, we all received a notice that 2024 was complimentary. I'm happy to pay to watch stuff that I enjoy watching (I buy NBA too) but I don't appreciate getting charged for stuff before I even know what I'm buying (i.e. no schedule or even any news yet. wtf)
Peacock literally sent one this week to me. They give you a month notice.

This is something that pisses me off badly. Auto renew!
I once subscribed to YTD...You Tube Downloader...I paid about $6 for a month. My daughter wanted some music vids so I paid and downloaded what she wanted..
YTD continued to grab $6 every month thereafter. I sent mails to their helpline and no response. Month 6 I had to go to my bank and have my card number changed.
All a bunch of thieving cunts. Where has the honestly gone? Moral decay....We get fucked over everyday and they think it's OK.
I was charged auto renew membership without notice in early December. Kind of annoying there was no warning, but I left it as I was going to buy it anyway.
Today I got an email that my membership was refunded... Didn't request this or contact anyone at all about it.
It shows I still have access for now, but we'll see. What a complete unprofessional fuck around.

Oops. Just realized this thread is for WSX. I thought it was for SMX. 🤦♂️ My issue currently is with them.
