cheesewiz? That was a pretty pathetic display of "racing", looked more like a couple of clowns getting together on those little tricycles. just not sure what they looked like...were they rodeo clowns or circus clowns? hard to tell. Smile

matiaseivich and bradshaw? larry ward and ...who was it again at seattle whose battle slowed to a crawl? hilarious!

Smells in here... like benGAY or something...

I thought it was great to have two guys go at it without throwing a tantrum afterwards, fuggin breath of fresh air, IMO.

It was a modern day version of two minicycle foes reliving their youth. Definitely not a battle. It was cute for a few corners.

I prefer my sarcasm dry, so a smiley would have been inappropriate... Wink

I'm serious though, when James and Chad were doing the same shit last year, it was "the greatest racing ever" , remember?

When RV came to a stop in the corner near the end of the "battle" I was thinking "wtf?" But, then I rewatched it and realized that if he hadn't, Hill would have cleaned his clock...

It was Larry Ward and Matasivich in Seattle..FYI. Also I thought it was great racing by 2 dudes that know each other well....and they were both classy in that nobody was put out of the race. RV was a man on a mission and got the job done clean..imho

Im with you on the dry humor, just wasnt sure if we were on the same page.

Last year in Jacksonville was incredible. The bad blood between Reed and Bubba really made it a great battle.

Even knowing that Hill and RV dont have any love lost between one another doesnt make those few corners all that intriguing of a "battle" to me, not sure why. Maybe if they come together a few more times this season, I'll look back on those corners as the beginning to a great rivalry?

Bobby I was down with it.... if they banged bars any worse i'm sure people, including the AMA would be looking to fine and suspend.... and then of course waffle and reverse.

listen BobbyM...to go fishing you must have a license and a rod and reel. yer reel exploded and landed in Europe and trying to make a cast with just a rod makes you look foolish. you might catch a few but they won't be keepers.

I like it, but if I were their team managers I would be pissed because while their playin around with each other, Dungey was putting time on them.

I thought the battle was nice to see, Villo is a smart guy, i liked that he had the foresight in the heat of it all to brake up and force josh around the outside for that pass, it was cool because it shows he doesn't panic an loose focus of the task at hand, which in my opinion reminds us of the champion that he is.

I dont understand why everyone thinks its such a bad move? Its supercross guys, there is not much room for passing... I mean some tracks there are multiple lines... But San Fran didnt have much room, and block passing is the way you have to do it... I have seen a lot worse block passes then that... Its sad that some people think that's not racing... Really? Have you ever raced a day in your life? Because it really doesn't sound like it.

Bobby was a fast local pro up in NorCal in the 70's. his career was cut short by an accident that resulted in partial amputation of his leg. He's an OG and still bleeds moto . . .

He has never ridden an modern SX track with triples and step on, step off jumps, knarly whoops or big bowl corners.

Bob's a good guy . . . He's been posting on some incarnation of cyclenews, motonews, freshdirt, or motodrive since around 97 or 98

so if you have a problem with somebody but don't have the nerve to tell them yourself, get on AIM and tell bobbym and he'll do the dirty work for you . . . lmao

For the most part it was pretty good racing.

But at 1:37 into that video, I am pretty sure they were exchanging cell numbers so they could hook up after the race.
