For me it's not the amount, its the money order like Rob said. Id buy them if I could pay in a convenient way.

I do not have Venmo Zell, or these other platforms for payment. I understand the convenience for payment but I feel if you need this it is a small inconvenience to get a US Postal Money Order. I don't know, doesn't anyone go to the Post Office anymore? Maybe I am too old school. Anyway.

The problem with a money order for the buyer is there is no recourse if you don’t ship the goods or if they arrive not as described..even if it got lost in the mail on the way to the seller it’s a real PIA to get a refund on a money order..

I dunno, I've always offered USPS Money Orders as the most "no BS, it's legit, and I'm really serious here" form of payment when I'm trying to negotiate (as a buyer).  

That approach may be a few years out of date though.

 maybe you should try facebook marketplace or offer up in your area if you don’t want to set up any account where the buyer would be protected, instead of using vital where it has buyers from all over.
