I have a 22 CRF450r (stock) running T4, twin air power flow kit, and remap on stock ecu by tokyomods. My bike has randomly bogged out on me a few times now but most of the time runs great. Last riding session it was pretty bad and seemed like it was choking on too much fuel. Low rpm and cracking the throttle open it would just start to die out (bogging/ popping) and then snap out of it and pick right back up. Happened in between a 2nd to 3rd gear double to triple rhythm section and almost sent me over the bars (terrifying). I contacted Twisted Development with the same wording mentioned above and all they told me was to fill out the ecu remapping form and the would map it for me. People are telling me they’ve had the same issue due to running T4 and to just run pump gas which fixed the problem for them. I just love the smell of T4 too much to switch to pump gas😂 Any idea of what the issue could be? Other responses here on the forum have mentioned fuel pump, injectors, and throttle body assembly. Seems like a lot of “potential” issues to chase around before the upcoming race season in January. Anything helps thanks!

Double check your battery connections are tight. I had a 2019 that had loose connections that would randomly bog and then eventually the ground wire broke completely on the face of a jump and I almost went over the bars. After fixing it all of the bogging problems went away. Turns out the stator does not provide enough power for the electronics to keep running lol.
The stator provides plenty of power to run the electrical system. The way the bike is wired, the battery must remain in the circuit....without a battery connected, the bike won't start, nor will it keep running if the battery gets disconnected. The only E-start CRF that will start and run without a battery is the 2017 CRF450RX
How did it run before the remap? When did this problem start?
Thinking back about it now the bike always ran a little off… before the remap it had some decel popping and would flame out/ die occasionally when chopping the throttle entering a corner. Remap seemed to clear that up a bit but now dealing with the occasional “sketchy” bog. Gona ride tomorrow and try regular pump gas (91 octane) to start eliminating potential issues.

Any updates ? Were you able to fix this issue?
Mine stumbles coming out of a corner, then seems to snap out of it once the throttle is opened up all the way.
I switched back to 91 pump gas and haven’t had the issue since. Bike didn’t like T4 for some reason?
