So I’m wearing my 5-6 year old a fox flexair and abolustely love it. So I ordered some new Flexair and fits totally different. Jersey is way too tight and the pants are baggy in the ass. I’ve since tried Renen and can’t stand the pants, they are like wearing a burlap potato sack, thick with no stretch, and I tried the vented ones which were also baggy although they fit decent. Anyone have recommendations for “stretch gear” that fits good? I like fitted so it’s not loose but also not Justin Barcia crotch shot tight. Thanks!

FXR is amazing and sizing is very accurate
Do some squats bro.
I agree the on the Barcia pecker pants being a poor moto fashion choice, we don't need that.
Thor doesn't seem to be cool guy stuff right now but Thor pulse stuff is quite good imo.
I have the same complaints about some gear brands. Some are way too baggy in the ass and thigh for me. I like the Thor Prime Pro and FXR. The Thor Prime Pro line even has very specific pants sizing so you can get sizes like 31,33 and so on. FXR pants seem to fit me great as well.
I just ordered a set of TLD GP pro air, was worried about the Barcia fit, so I went up to a 34 from my 32/33 jean size, and they were way too big. 32's fit just right .

I've worn it all until I bought my first set of FXR gear, and haven't bought anything but FXR since. Fits snug (not tight) but doesn't bind or get uncomfortable anywhere either. (I've only ever bought the Revo line though) For what it's worth...
Ordered a set of FXR Revo pro yesterday! We’ll see how it goes!
Alpinestars gear is light and sized properly
Does the A-Star stuff have liners inside the pants. My knee braces destroy that stuff in 3-2-1 :-)
I wear my 97,98 pants they fit great. I mostly wear a 09 pair of tLd pants because the material is super thick for hard pack rd rash. I don’t hv butt cheeks to fill out the butt area. But there’s no mirrors at the track so who cares. At my pace the riders don’t hv much time to check my butt. Because the contrail of Mack 5 air speed temporarily blinds them.
Not the 2022 stuff I have, thin , no hip padding
Do u wear knee braces ? is there room.
I have a hard time - I'm 6'7" so struggle to find gear with loooong legs
FXR is very high quality also compared to other brands you’ll be happy with it
Does everyone not realize that the gear for most of these top level riders are custom made for the riders request?
Maybe that's why everyone thinks "factory" bikes are so much faster than stock bikes, because they have a "faster" motor and not the bike being modify around the rider to feel comfortable at going there speed.
FXR is where its at.
Seven MX Zero Gear is the best!!
I'm currently in the developmental stage of my brand, Refyn Racewear based out of the UK. If you have any suggestions for a brand that can quickly adapt, I welcome your input.
I'm in the process of ensuring that our pants can withstand 20 to 25 hours of use, and while I haven't reached that point yet, I'm making good progress. Once I'm confident in the product and durability, then I'll begin planning the launch. I'm in no hurry because I believe that first impressions are crucial, and I want them to be positive.
Fortunately, the feedback from riders and individuals who've seen and tested our products has been positive.
At this stage, our offerings include:
- Slim and Regular-fit jerseys
- Free sublimation of logos, names, and numbers
- Affordable gear packages (featuring jerseys, pants, and gloves) that are priced well below the market average for this combo while still maintaining high-quality materials.
There are more exciting developments in the pipeline, but I'm unable to disclose further details at this time.

One suggestion is don't forget the more husky dudes. So few options and mostly in black only,
I’d absolutely love to see more of your jerseys, pants and gloves, the gear in this pic looks AWESOME!! I love the font/design of Refyn, it’s very cool!
I’ll definitely keep an eye out for when your gear is going to drop, and good luck with everything that’s coming down the line!

My Fox Flexair gear is so baggy in the ass. I admittedly have no ass but it's really bad
FXR! I ordered some and wore it for the first time last Sunday. Been riding since 94 and hands down the best stuff I have ever put on. FYI I have a lot the newer top line fast house stuff and it blows that stuff out of the water! About to order some more FXR.
I appreciate your kind words, my friend!
Your support means a great deal to me, especially since I'm the sole individual responsible for all the development and design work within the company.
Here are pictures of the development glove and the pants, although I apologize for not having a good photo of the pants at the moment – they're currently in the wash. I'm using real leather, and I'm pleased to say that even after four rides and four washes, the leather remains soft and flexible, just as it was when I first received it from the factory.
No problem at all! I’m always looking for new/fresh gear brands that catch my eye. Your designs definitely have an incredible look, and again, I love the font/design of Refyn on the front of the jersey.
The pants and gloves look awesome too!
I’ll keep an eye out for whenever you’re going to have a hard launch, and I’d love to be one of your first customers!
I’ll also send you a PM with my email addy to make it easier to correspond in the future. 👍
Finally got to see some photos of my gear on track at the Lawrence compound on Monday… these are still prototypes as i have switched to a different factory but I’m stoked to say the least on how it looks.

I like the looks of that Refyn stuff, too. I'll be keeping my eyes open for it.
Wow, it's great to see someone going through same process as me. This year I started producing mx gear as well. So far, I have tested it on selected riders and on myself. Developing pants that last, is a really long process. I managed to exceed the limit of 25 hours with the use of knee braces while testing on a professional enduro/dakar rider. Finding the right material for the knee area was a game changer. The material I use doesn't look fancy, but it's super comfortable even after washing, it doesn't harden and above all, it lasts a decent time. I am currently finishing the last few sets that will be at the Dakar, which will be the ultimate test. I am attaching a few photos.
