This is a great signing/pickup by both parties involved and IMO could become one of the better signings of the off season

Poll
that Yamaha budget must be insane lol.
Man, Club is awesome to have in the sport. Coty deserves to be out there and I’m glad Club was able to find room for him when Phoenix dropped him last minute.
I’m lost on that last selection lol
I'll never forget watching Coty holeshot a 450 moto at Millville and absolutely CRANKING one over Bob's in front of the big dogs... Fan ever since!

After reading that choice, I’m going to put the phone down for a little.
WAT a Schock!
Good for Coty and best of luck for him 2024. Seems like a stand up dude for sure.
Hell of an upgrade from Phoenix. Good for him
Good for Coty and ClubMx. I think this is going to be a good thing.
Had a feeling this was coming and was really hoping it would. With Enzo out at club, Schock out at Pheonix and Club loaning him a bike to ride in the mean time I figured it was a matter of time while they just sorted out the budgets and a deal. Brandon made it pretty clear in one of the recent vids that they really wanted a young rider they could grow with, thought that's what they had in Enzo and Coty seems like the perfect candidate to fill that roll!
I’m pretty sure Enzo’s ride went to Jett Reynolds. Coty got an extra spot on the team that wasn’t going to be filled.
Correct it did, which is why I believe it took some time to make a deal while club loaned him a bike and gave him a place to ride (this is all speculation but makes sense in my head). I guess I didn't mean to make it sound like Coty slipped into Enzos spot but it just seems like a perfect fit to eventually live up to what they had going with Enzo and Cotys potential when he is back up to speed and finally riding at 100% again.
So did he either pay for the spot or have someone pay for it or is riding for free? Would guess he is more than likely riding for free with just a place to train…
The team's sponsors kicked in more money to make it happen.
From the press release:
"ClubMX team owner Brandon Hass explained: “ClubMX was founded on giving guys an opportunity to race at the highest level that were overlooked or underfunded. Coty is a good guy and currently rides better than he has ever ridden in his life. Unfortunately, the timing was horrible and like everyone else, budgets are closed. We gave him the shop bike to ride on the moto track to stay in shape and he was very grateful. Then, I thought about it for a couple of days and decided to let the team vote on it. It was going to be added work for the crew, the shop, the motor department and so on. During our Wednesday staff meeting, I outlined the situation, and opened it up for discussion, questions, and then a vote. The crew was seeing the same thing that I saw because it was unanimous to figure out a way to help him. We went to work making calls to Muc-Off, FXR, and Yamaha and put a program together to get him racing for our team for Supercross."
I have no doubt that watching him ride they could tell the guy is something special.
This is why my respect for club is always growing.
