Haha thats excellent. Is that going to be a merry Christmas for the kids?
We already had the bikes i just did them up for them as they love Jett. The 110 has wider bars to stop the speed wobbles and the 50’s up next my little 5 year old hammers on it and the wobbles scare me…
This is very much the, "better content" that was discussed in another thread.

Very cool.
I remember those days well with my kids. Had a 50, 70 & 100. One was a big Reed fan, so also had a KX65 done up with Yammi Reed 22 plastics. Will never forget the day we went to pick that one up, he had no idea what we were going for.
Time flies. Sigh....
Tell me about it… I blinked and my eldest is 21 and now the littlest is 5 crazy how fast time goes by. Spending it with the family makes it all worth it.
I bet your little guy at the time had to pinch himself when he got to see that bike you had done for the first time 😊
The Lawrence family have paved the way for Aussie moto fans.
Reminds me of Christmas 1981. I didn't get hardly any presents and was feeling a bit down but didn't want to say anything and sound ungrateful.
My Dad asked me to get him something out of the shed later that morning, and when I went inside there was a KX80D1 uni-trak. Must've been some cut onions in there too, honest lol
I can still hear the "bap-bap-bap" sound of snow hitting the plastic fenders riding it on the field near the house that day. Best Christmas ever. The OP just made his kids' day.
Awesome, kids gotta have their Hero's and Jett comes across as a great role model for them. We named our new cat Jett, because were fans.
“Cut onions” that’s gold love it….
At least there might not be the usual downvotes on something cool and wholesome like this! Thanks for the post.
Great story of remembering the sounds. I got a new clutch lever for my kx80 on christmas, obviously had to put it on and test it out. I begged and got 1 zip up and down the block. In the driveway I go to turn onto the street. I pop the clutch, do a donut and dumped the bike. I remember the tinny sound of my new clutch lever bouncing across the concrete. Cried like a baby and blamed it on my leg. My dunlops were not hookin up that day ha
One of my friends named their newborn son Jettson...
