Heading down to Honolulu for 10 days in February for a wedding. Since im gonna be there so long, I was trying to see if there are tracks around there and maybe finding a bike to rent. Anyone got any leads.
I found a track but its website doesnt have much info.
The track is up on the North Shore, I think only open on weekends, it's on an Army training ground. Kahuku MX Park. I was stationed there from 2008 to 2013. Around the time I was leaving there was talk about putting in a tracks in Honolulu for RC cars, bikes and UTV. Not sure if that ever took off.
Kahuku on north shore, their site: https://ridehma.org/
I have a local guy that helps out guys that come to the island to ride. Great guy. PM me.
Couldn't all of Maui be turned into a riding area? Probably should rent the blue Yamaha if you know what I mean.

Seriously dude!? He wasn’t even asking about Maui and your joke is in bad taste.
Tone deaf much?
It's right above Sunset Beach, and right up the road from Pipeline. The red dirt will stain your gear permanently.
February could also be a good time to see some big wave surfing while you're there too.
Waimea Bay on a big day is a must see if you're there anyway. Traffic and parking could suck but feeling the beach shake from the waves like a trains going by is a humbling experience. I know it aint moto but if you're already there and the waves are big it's an experience you won't forget
. Have fun !
Kahuku. Say hello to Colby Raha while you’re there…

There are awesome trails around the perimeter of Kahuku that have incredible views of Pipeline and the North Shore. I hope OP finds a bike!
Glad to see I'm not the only one that thinks about potential riding opportunities while on vacation.
Even if you can’t score a bike, make the drive up there. A motocross track on top of a mountain in the middle of the ocean- I will never forget that view when I was up in the air over the big table. Even got to race against John DeSoto in the annual TT race there once. Very fond memories of the place.
It's a great place to ride but I didn't ride until the second time I went last March. Honestly there's so much to do and see the first 14 days I was there the first time that as much as I wanted to ride, an I was itching like a crack head to ride but had so much going on I was fine with not riding for the first time on a vacation.
I rented a trials bike with my son. The guy we rented from came with and gave us an amazing tour of the perimeter of Kahuku. Awesome sites and an unforgetable experience with my boy.
Hawaii moto was a bucket list item forever that I got to check off with a total random luck incident. One night at a restaurant while vacationing in Kauai we had a super rad server that was shooting the shit with my wife and I and we stumbled the subject of Moto. The guy had an extra bike and sets of gear for the specific purpose of taking out random Moto dudes on vacation. He picked me up from my hotel with another buddy of his and took me out to Waimea canyon, for those that don’t know it’s an insane canyon that literally rivals the Grand Canyon. Getting to rip Moto on some of the coolest single track I’ve ever experienced through one of the most beautiful canyons in the world was so amazing! He even brought some joints and we got to burn one down at the end of a single track that ended at a 3,500’ shear cliff to the ocean. Best of luck to the OP on making it happen!
That's so awesome! When I lived in Hawaii, I had a chance to ride the Kauai Labor Day Hare and Hound twice (and the Mauna Kea 200 Enduro on the Big Island). That dude gifted you with memories that will last a lifetime.
