I can add some info in.

Brooke Johnson and myself will be racing for the Coastal Moto race team in 2024. Brooke is racing East Coast WMX and I will be racing the Eastern swing, undetermined if I’m racing 250 or 450. I will do Supercross and Arenacross as well.

Redline Racing Oil has stepped up and is supporting the team a TON for 2024. Joel Hillier, the team owner has also retained and added new sponsors for 2024. We will have one pre mix rider on each coast. Manufacture of bike is undetermined still.

Excellent news. I'll add that above. Thanks

Coastal Moto is with Callus Moto for gear with the exception of Talan Hansen who has his own XFR deal.
And will also have Justin Begg doing West Coast Premix series and GR Walters doing East Coast Premix series

Good question. Not sure.

He did have a support ride with MVP/Sky Racing in 2023 - but I believe that fell apart mid season.

Not sure. Ask around - you'll get varied opinions on it.

Unfortunately I don't have any data or insight on it. Someone chime in if they do.

anyone buying one of these they come signed but it’s 175 Canadian shipped. On the fence

Thanks for the tip. I will grab one for sure. For the simple fact of supporting a Canadian down South.

Any good visibility on if Natzke is 250 or 450?

Industry knowledge seems to point to a 450 ride - but with the departure of McNabb, 250 would seem logical.

Very unfortunate.

Unless there is bad data in the public domain and industry insiders are wrong - that leaves GasGas without representation in Canada for 2024.

I can confirm Sam Gaynor will be racing next year in some capacity.  As a fill in rider with TLD GasGas SSR and no prep finished the outdoor portion 7th overall in the 250 class and double classed doing premix winning the championship and being one flat tire away from a perfect premix season.

Thanks. Yeah, he did ride well and his fitness was solid. He will be another good addition to the 250 class in 2024.

Are we for sure that Cobequid is not racing?

Are we for sure that Cobequid is not racing?

Word on the street is that he would need to start by paying his riders and mechanics for this past season before he can even consider bringing a team back for next year.

Many teams in Canada have a paying issue.

Ouch. Wasn’t aware of that. That’s too bad.

Damn, don't like reading that. Not good if true.

He sold the dealership a few months ago, the new owners name is over the door now. So Cobequid Mountain doesn't really exist anymore. I haven't been in since the change. They had their annual open house yesterday but not a good time for me. New owner does have Gas Gas as a brand on their website. I did see him post when he announced the sale that he would still be into the race team thing. In some capacity. But have seen or read nothing since.
