CORRECTION: On the 50mm WP XACT build sheet the OD on the rebound face shims should be 38mm.

Thanks for asking.

All levels of MX and fast off-road.

Not ideal for slow, technical terrain (big rocks).

You may have to make some small externals adjustments depending on the conditions and your level.

Try it and let me know what you think. If it isn't mind blowing let me know and I'll tell you what to change.

This set-up fixes A LOT (all) of problems with the stock configuration.

So clevis shimmed nearly 2mm? This is to increase shaft bleed? Have you tested any piston bleeds? Currently using 1.3mm piston bleed, with low friction band. Curious, do you leave new piston style comp ports stock sizes? Looks good.

I ride too much roots and rocks Dave. Tried a stack suggested by a guy I know for woods but waaaaay too soft and completely unbalanced now with my Luckies and .48 springs. Shoot me a stack better suited for woods and I’d be happy to try it.
Still have not had a better shock than the KYB you built for me. Most stable set up ever!

For springs used for riders between 160 and 220.

That said, if you want a specific set-up, let me know spring, rider weight, level and terrain and I'll do a more precise set-up.

But you can definitely start with what I have posted.

Yeah I loved my 15 YZ250FX set up. Best I’ve ever had.
