According to people that work with these kids,Sacha is the better rider of the 2.

Just not as strong yet, always was the smallest of both brothers.

I thought they had plans to move to America? Or has all this talk of them coming to do SX and MX in the states just hype? I swear i seen a comment from their manager at one point about them racing SX.

Big fans of the brothers. I was keen for a Lucas VS Deegan outdoor battles in the 250's soon.

From Racer X:

"There were thoughts that the young duo (now 17 years old as of last week) might come to the U.S. for AMA Supercross and Motocross, and this deal doesn't derail that down the road. This new announcement means the duo will remain in the MXGP circuit for at least the 2024 season, although specifics were not clarified. Could we see the duo in the U.S. as early as 2025?"

Lucas looks real fast from what I'd seen this year,  some crashes but the speed is there.

Anyone who says sacha is a greater talent than lucas is an idiot....

The only thing he can do well is start and ride beyond his ability...and that almost always end with a crash

Have you ever heard of them before this year? Sacha has always been the better rider. Maybe get your head out of the sand.

I would hardly say always. The past three years Lucas has been the better rider.

Fair enough, Lucas has definitely had better results the past years. I just remember Sacha on the bud Kawaski and he was so good. Doesn't help Lucas has grown but Sacha hasn't.

According to Lucas(post above) they are 100% coming to USA. I actually think it’s a good move to do another year in mxgp and start sx at 18 in the states. That’s still the age most American kids turn pro.

They are not 18 yet. Seems like when they're 18 they can go to USA.

I think you would be in for a surprise once he grows a bit. He crashes because he is not strong enough (yet). But if people like Smets and Cairoli are impressed about your work ethic, talent and skills then I think that that says something about your abilities.

They just turned 17 actually, the 9th of november. Their agent said on Twitter they'll be in US around 2026/2027. No rush, they are very young.

Both are training Sx in Europe and in the videos i saw, both are pretty good.

Both shared videos in a spanish sx track and others that i dont know but ktm rarely aproves his Riders to train sx and thats means that Coenen's can do whatever they want.

He can impress Smets and Cairoli with his work ethic, talent + skills but does that equal being a bigger talent then Lucas?

I must say i am impressed with Sascha, he is very young and is showing good skills. But the difference in results in EMX125, EMX250 and now MX2 is massive.

In the last 3 years Lucas has scored 35 podium moto finishes in MX2, EMX250 and EMX125. Sascha 2 (two!).

Lucas has won 5 motos in mx2 and in total 22 moto's in 3 years of mx2/emx250/emx125. Sascha has won 1 (one!) EMX125 moto 3 seasons ago.

There is no comparison.
