Looks pretty cool. 1kW more peak power than the ktm e5.

Any idea what the price is?  I didn't see one in the article.

Cool to see! I think electric is creating a bit of a pitbike revival. Anyone see all the moto kids on Instagram ripping the Surrons? Kind of a mix between MTB and pitbike, looks like so much fun for the backyard. Gives me the same feel as all those 2000s pitbike DVDs!

I have a suron and it’s fun but rides more like a mountain bike than dirt bike. It’s slower than I thought it’d be. Riding it on a tight track is all about momentum.

That helps explain the big crossover from a lot of big MTB guys that are into them too. Seems like all these motocross kids have had theirs hopped up to make them more MX-equivalent versus MTB. Would you say it's similar power to a stock 110?

Yeah that's probably about right. The power delivery is so different that it isn't a 1:1 comparison but about a stock 110. Maybe a little quicker.

Anyone have more experience with these? Looking to get one to play around on but $4,300 is a touch steep. If it rips and is much faster than a stock 110 than may be worth it.

It tops out at like 20 but accelerates pretty good off the bottom.  A 110 is far faster overall though.  I thought about one too but went Honda 110 instead.

Top speed is more then 2 times that.  Super fun to put street tires on and rip around on the street.

Ohhh I was thinking of the Honda one. Didn’t realize they had another model.
