Enzo Lopes on board Star Racing
Good for Enzo, but I kind of feel bad for Club.

Max is looking really good at Perris. It’s crazy seeing him scrub so hard on jumps that I’m afraid to hit at all.
He will surprise some people next year. Better bike for his technique and a fresh environment, as long as injuries stay out of it I think we see a setup forward from Maximus
I agree somewhat, but it's a business and if the opportunity was better he has to do what's best for him. If Club could provide him the same $ and resources, he wouldn't have left.
Max looks realllly comfy & sonic fast! Hope to see him come out beefin
How’s it better for his technique?
I’ve heard several reports of JReynolds to ClubMX, but he’s posting TikToks of him ripping a BarX bike. Anyone know definitively what’s going on?
Could be pulling a roczen testing the field
MARIETTA, Ga. – Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing announces the addition of Enzo Lopes to the 250 team for the 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season. The popular Brazilian rider joins Nate Thrasher, Haiden Deegan, Jordon Smith, Stilez Robertson, Nick Romano, and Daxton Bennick to campaign for top honors aboard the all-new 2024 YZ250F.
After a strong finish to his amateur career, Lopes made his pro debut at the Pro Motocross Hangtown National in 2018. Since then, he’s shown strength and has consistently finished in the top five overall in Supercross. The 24-year-old earned a career-best result in the 250 class last season, finishing just shy of the podium with three fourth-place finishes and a total of five top-five finishes to end the year fourth overall in the 250SX West Championship. Lopes looks to build on his forward momentum with the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team in 2024 and to fight up front for a run at the title.
Jensen Hendler – Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing 250 Team Manager:
“We’re happy to have Enzo join our program for 2024. He’s continued to make progress, and we feel that he can be a title contender. We’ve just started to get working with him, and we can’t wait to see what he can do.”
Enzo Lopes – Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing
“I am super excited to join the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team for 2024. Growing up in Brazil, it has always been my dream to represent a factory team and to make that a reality with the best makes me eager to work even harder. I’ve been training with Swanie (Gareth Swanepoel) and the team for a couple of days now, and it has been awesome. I know I have what it takes to win, and with the right team and program around me, the sky is the limit. I can’t wait to go racing!”
Because he is a lengthy kid and the Kawi is more open, thus allowing him to move around on the bike more. Watch any of his videos on it and tell me he looks the same as the ktm.
Wtf
Ya caught me off guard when I opened up IG to see that. Not expected at all.
he had a factory ktm amateur deal didn't he?
nobody on the am side at ktm then anymore since Juju moved up?
Pit Row
I have no idea what his deal was, but I thought for sure we'd see him on orange for another year at least.
No results to show for it. Probably just going pro with bar x
There might be some more I'm missing. I think I heard somewhere that they were going to bring Kayden Minear over for KTM but I know these guys are on 250s now for the KTM group.
KTM - Luke Fauser
GASGAS - Klark Robbins
Husqvarna - Landon Gibson
Kawi and KTM didn't work out huh
The KTM group’s amateur program has been so odd these past few years. Mark Fineis just left gas gas. Deegan and Bennick both left KTM. Not sure what happened with Preston, but he’s out after a year. Vohland and Hawkins got called up early and struggled a bit because of it. Lots of turnover there.
Preston went from being the #1 guy on team green, to being the next “guy” at orange brigade, to bar x… what a roller coaster for that dude. I hope he succeeds there.
It's been a dumpster fire tbh
Wait, I thought Daniel Blair was going to fix it all? The whole amateur scene is a dumpster fire with zero loyalty on either side.
Then they have nobody in de 250 anymore? Casey moved to the pro’s for husqy and Juju for KTM. And Mini O’s coming up nobody will represent the ktm/gasgas/husq amateur program?
He has only been in the job for about a year and he said the first year was about learning. This job is one that will take a few years to judge.
I don’t think you can fault them for the Vohland situation. They gave him 3 years to show a bit more but he clearly wasn’t where they wanted him to be yet even though I think Max is going to improve even more next year it probably isn’t race winner like they hoped at this point, most likely a podium threat season of consistency would be a big step forward. And I love Max. He rips. But I am realistic.
They didn’t cut loose Hawkins, he’s at AEO. That’s their B squad. He’s going to build there. He was a fill-in who they gave an entire year to learn on even after Jalek came back. Pretty fair deal I think compared to how they handled Braswell this summer.
Both prospects coming up this season should do well. Cochran and JuJu. Plus the pro team signed two super prospects in Ferres and Ryder D. That’s a talented group of youngsters. With Vialle taking a step forward, the KTM group is probably in the best spot in years 250 program wise.
Looks like Matthes is saying Ferrandis could end up at Phoenix Honda
