I’ve been meaning to upload some pictures and give props to Suzuki for a cool event. They take a lot of crap for outdated bikes, but the people running the American Suzuki effort and race team are awesome. I’ve been around a few teams and the racing scene since the early 2000s and haven’t been invited in to the program like we were for this Ironman weekend. My boys obviously loved it and now they’ll be forever Freddie Noren and Kyle Chisholm fans. They invited my bike under the team tent and we got to talk bike setup. Freddie had his kids there and it felt like a big family bbq.

Nice, it was awesome in CA as well.  I chatted with Travis (Kenny's mechanic) about suspension and he called over another suspension guy as well to help with a few questions I had.  Everyone was super nice.

That's awesome, badass 125 you have and glad you and the kids had a good time, sounds awesome.

It is a little sad that folks like this are still putting real effort into Suzuki, and so many of us are still huge Suzuki fans, and now the bike is proving itself again at the highest level, and Suzuki are still resting on their laurels. I hope this changes with all of the above, motocross and yellow bikes are a straight up classic combo 🙂

Did they ever do one in the Northeast? I don't see a location when I check the website now and it always said TBD previously. I forgot all about it since probably mid July.

They said they were planning on doing it again next year and hoping to add different locations.
