Out of current pros and say racers of the last 25 years. Guys like keefer and the mxa, swap ect crews. Who are riders that could really develop a bike. Obviously someone like dubach and even Henry and Fonseca did alot of testing for the pre pro and works yzf's. But just curious if you were gonna build a bike next year who are you going to try and hire.
I don’t know how he is developing bike but I love any review Keefer does. I feel like he goes more in-depth about bike feel and compliance than others. I’ve gone with settings that he’s recommended and it’s been great. You can email him with questions that he doesn’t touch on in his pods
If I’m developing a new bike for public sales I’m hiring Keefer. IMO he’s the most well rounded. If I’m building a race bike from an existing platform I have no clue who would be the “best”, but would probably pick a current racer or someone who was at the top of the class and retired like Dungey or Carolli.
Reed and Keefer
Working for a media outlet doesn't make one a good test rider nor does being a professional racer.
Keefer would be at the top of my list. I'm sure there's other really good test riders but the general public don't hear from them.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Canard seems to have done well for himself as a test rider/development guy.
Broc Tickle , Kyle Chisholm , Ivan Tedesco , Trey Canard ,
Keefer, Chad Reed, Lamson, Tedesco, Canard and Chiz. Those would be my go to guys.
If I’m developing a production bike, Ryan Morias, Michael Sleeter, or Tedesco.
If I’m a race team, Canard, Chisholm, or Tickle.
