Broken pelvis apparently, as reported in the qualifying thread.
From the tread - Sunday MXoN's lineup???
Daaaamn...thanks for the update Ando. That really sucks for the Netherlands.
I was last on the qualifying thread yesterday and have just woken up here in the arsehole of Africa to see this shit news.
The FIM should revisit the reserve rider rule. The finals have not started yet and the team are a rider down. This is when a reserve rider should be able to step in.
I'm really bummed for the team and wish Glen a speedy recovery.
The fractured pelvis is Grant Harlan.
Coldenhoff has a concussion and a broken rib.

Bummer for Glen, but Iโm gutted for Harlan.
Aaagh...thanks Mav, I skimmed through the qualifying thread and obviously missed a lot.
Wish the both well.
They could also just not have mxon at such a garbage track that would help
Ah, got them mixed up.
I was thinking the same, I know some years ago Team NL had a reserve rider.
What's the official rule about that?
All nations that lose a rider after qualification should be able to line up an other rider for the Sunday if available.
As soon as riders hit the track, they can no longer be replaced... it happened to GB a few times, but notably in Ernee in 2015 when Anstie got landed on and missed Sunday.... the team would have got on the podium if he could have placed 23rd or better
i can kinda understand the reasoning as it just stops any team tactics of replacing dudes when they are "injured" and not actually injured
Ah crap. I see that Gifting didn't participate in the warmup neither. So I guess we are fucked too. He crashed with Glenn
