If where you ride has hills or gullies, avoid the 125. They suck getting out of the bottom of things if you find yourself stopped there, and you will.

I vote for something in the 200 range.

I love 125s, but at 200 lbs you might want a little more.  Why a 125X? Why not a regular Yz125?

For trail riding wouldn't a 250F be better?

For those battling cancer, Keytruda and SRS Sterotactic Radiosurgery saved one of my best friend's life.  He was given 2 weeks to live, 8 1/2 years ago.  Cancer free for 8 years now.  They're worth looking into.  My prayers are with all of you.

Buckeye Joe, best of luck to you with your battle. For the bike, if your time is short, go to war with a kick ass weapon. 300's can be had for a reasonable price. Snag a clean 17 and up and anyone you rode with previously will wonder how you got faster and you'll blast through obstacles you couldn't get done before. For trail riding the 300 is unreal good.

Kx450 is a handful in the trails but doable.

The 125 is going to be fun and a challenge at the same time. To me you ride a 125 to be aggressive and prove you can still smoke your buddies with it or you are looking for the best bike to challenge and improve your riding skills.

Thanks to Keytruda, my last scan showed "no evidence of disease." Fingers crossed tor the same result tomorrow.

Damn, cancer makes dirt biking seem inexpensive.
