This is a huge deal for the sport! When was the last time a top team ran something besides Showa, Kayaba or Ohlins?

From Transworld; "Eventually, JRI hopes to offer components like these for sale to consumers. Trick!"

My guess is there are 2 separate nitrogen bladders with 2 different pressures in them.....like high speed and low speed.

As if JGR , L&M or Dubach hasn't monitored and recorded shock temperatures when testing the bikes? Anyone remember the hardwired Honda with sensors from one end to the other back around 1995? Was McGrath testing with it?

There's more to the story than the story itself,
& I'll leave it at that................
I applaud what & how they're doing it all.
It shows me that in a plane crash, JGR's getting out!

I wished you would comment on it...

BUT, I also read the forks were showa this year. I took that as a typo to be honest, but if indeed they are showa...

and the shock is JRI (people please read JR I - not JGR...seems to be a seperate company)

that JGR and KYB had some sort of falling out, or something.

Or, the shock plain works better.

Also the types of orifice they run will determine how much viscosity is affected by heat.
Id like to hear him repeat that right about now.

looks to me to be a piston design instead of a bladder, I prefer the piston design, it alows for more oil capcity

I appreciate how they do their own suspension in house. The shock body may be a billet unit thats a replica of the stock but who cares because they did it themselves without Pro Circut or Enzo. I like the do it yourself attitude.

At A2, did anyone else notice that Justin's bike was riding higher in the stroke than the others?

The set-screws on the spring platforms is a giveaway, as Penske have been doing that for years on racecar dampers.

A lot of teams in NeckCar use Penskes, and it wouldn't surprise me if JGR was one of them.

yeah because the header running 1/2 and inch under the old style res's like every bike made in the last 5 years with less air flow around them just worked horribly. (rolls eye)

whats with everyone the last 4 days, the air in here has definiately gotten the feel of alot having a vaginal flare-up... or some sand up there.

Two things:

1) I have ALWAYS questioned the lack of heat shield on/between the header and the coolant hoses/impeller area as well as the shock area

2) Due to the newly repositioned exhaust on the new Yamaha, that section of header is going to get even hotter than previous pipe configurations passing by the rear shock

So put that in your pipe and stick it up your ass

1) then you should be a bazillion-aire for selling your tech design to stop this horrible, traggic thing that robs performance so badly that noone on...
1) then you should be a bazillion-aire for selling your tech design to stop this horrible, traggic thing that robs performance so badly that noone on the planet but you sees it!

2) with twice as much air flow around it

you're oblivious to the fact that air is moving because th bike is moving arent you? "oh look! I have a key board! I can be an engineer!"

so me and my pipe in ass will at least match you with your head up yours.

When I was at A2 I saw the shield and thought of you.

Let's not forget they have one of the only dyno's in the world capable of taking recorded suspension travel data and replaying it as a drive file for both front and rear in real time.....

JGR obviously is very forward thinking and has the money and resources to take this sport to a new level.

Very cool.

JGR probably saw your post and went, $!#t thats what happened to Josh Grant in preseason testing, he didn't have a heat shield around his exhaust! HOW COULD WE NOT SEE THAT!!!

I'm sure your check is in the mail.
