Anyone else have this issue?

I put the Ty Davis oversized tank on my YZ250 and the fuel line kinks because it has to do such a sharp bend. Tank bolts up fine but there just isn’t much drop between the petcock and the carb inlet.IMG 4519

I am having the same issue. I am thinking the oem fuel line will work, may need to trim it a bit. I think it has an angle built into it? That is what I am going to try.

Curious what others have done. Here’s a picture of mine currently.

Ditch that fuel line and try your OEM one. That stuff is junk.

When I ran the ZIP-TY tank I used Motion Pro premium fuel hose, which is pretty thick walled and flexible, with a Moose fuel line protector (the wire coil type that goes around the line) to keep it from collapsing in the bends. Be generous with the line. Don't try to keep it short, because it just makes the bends tighter and want to fold.

Run it in a loop behind the clutch cable so there is no kink

You both need to run a longer fuel line to start. Get a better fuel line, one that is thicker and will hold shape better. Also, Either run a longer fuel line and do a loop to get the kink out, or go to a hardware store and get a small spring to insert into the fuel line to hold the shape.
