Just got my kyb/Enzo spring conversion done and revalve on shock and forks. Additionally have REP linkage and knuckle. I’m struggling to get the bike to want to lay into corners and once I do I can’t get it to settle in. Enzo’s spec is for my fork to be at 2nd line from the top of the forks, not sure how many mm that is. After a few motos I brought them up to the 3rd line. Then noticed it felt like I was blowing through the forks too easily. So then I went in on compression 2 clicks and out on rebound 2 clicks. Got a little better but still just doesn’t feel balanced. It seems like now there is too much angle/weight on the forks. Any advice here?
Another factor is that I only have 2 hours on the bike.
Were you riding it at 3P? One line on the fork height isn’t going to make you blow through the stroke. What’s your sag set to?
I rode at Rio Saturday. Yeah I’m not saying they were but just felt that way like there was a lot more weight in the front end. Sag is at 105.
What bike did you come off of before owning this one?
How many hours on the bike?
All the reviews said the bike needs 10 hours to break in and I observed the same on my 23.

They feel dead like they won't turn for the first ~5 hours or so. Even after they are broken in they still have a heavy front end feeling. My 250f would eat front tire carcasses because it put so much force on the tire and that was with an air fork that puts 3-4 lbs less weight on the front wheel.
Also if you turned in comp but then turned out rebound you are mostly keeping the same low speed compression setting as the rebound affects both comp and rebound. This goes for fork and shock.
I like to break in my bikes with stock suspension, so I can form an opinion and have a starting point. I have started off with my ConeValve forks on some new bikes as I know the forks are dialed in and I can focus on fork height in the clamps and rear shock action… as others have stated, they do take a while to settle in..just a thought….
Did you tell Enzo you had the REP linkage and knuckle before setup?
Also to note, I find it harder to setup a bike at 3 Palms since it is so sandy. Corner feel isn't as good as Rio or other places, and the bumps develop differently. I generally need to go stiffer by a couple of clicks front and rear at 3P, after getting pretty close elsewhere.
I did tell Enzo about the linkage and didn’t have much of an opinion on it and didn’t do anything to compensate for it.
Yeah, to be honest I couldn’t really tell a difference after adjusting the clickers. I went back to baseline settings from Enzo for now, including second line of the forks(10mm). Im going to just ride it and get 10 hours on her and go from there.
Keefer seems to like the 23.5 and 24mm (stocks is 22) offset triple clamps which will take a little weight off the front wheel and might make the geometry feel more balanced and not feel like it is trying to screw the front tire into the ground.
That linkage changed your rear shock spring by up to 2 rates I believe. How much preload do you have on your spring? What’s your static sag?
Mark at REP told me the linkage doesn’t require a heavier spring for this generation
I have a 23 350 and at 105mm of sag the bike felt like it didn't want to settle into a rut and I'd constantly run over ruts or stand up. Went to 100mm sag and it fixed the issue.
