Best Viewing Unadilla

Hey guys,

I’ve made the track down from Canada several times for the Dilla. This will be my first time since Covid, and I’m bringing my eight year old son to his first national!

I really want him to get all the event has to offer, wondering where you all like to view from. Generally, we sit in the big bowl by the uphill rollers before the skyshot. I know he’d love seeing the skyshot, but not a lot of battling happens there. Maybe by the cavity? Thoughts?

First thing I do the minute I get there is go straight to the skyshot to watch all the huge whips in practice. You don't want him to miss that

I typically make one lap of the track and make it take most of the day ,I try and find shade to hang out in and watch. Once they went to banners lining the track it really cut down on your ability to watch the racing on different parts of the track unless you're standing up close.

Go watch the skyshot during practice. During the races probably the best spot is the back hill where James landed on RC. The viewing is better on the far side of the track

At least for the first Moto or 2.   But I’ve really enjoyed this spot in the infield in you can snag it.  There’s no perfect spot at this track though. Cheers 🍻

We went to Unadilla last year,  and after not going to an outdoor since Gatorback in 1997. It was awesome.  We literally walked around the entire track the entire day.   We would walk to a section, check it out  for a few minutes then walk to the next.  I usually like to just pick one spot and hang out but from now on that is the way see the whole track.

Never been to Unadilla, but with Kenny and Barcia back, Skyshot is definitely where I'd be during practice.

It's been a couple years since I went but do they still broadcast the announcer on fm radio? I always brought a small radio so I could hear the announcer anywhere around the track

Doesn’t matter where you view from, because “ The other side sucks”.

The AM track looks pretty good too. I was watching pro am races lastnight. And Deegan,s 1st pro am race was there. He was fired up getting 4 envelopes for 2 classes. I,m not too  far from the track now in Ct.

I always set up my chairs in front of the bleachers by gravity cavity.  I set them up as soon as I get there.  I spend practice and qualifying wandering the track and watch the motos from my chairs.
