What's up with Benoit Paturel? He has been having a terrible sesso so far and appears well off the pace of the top 10. Surely he is better than that. Is he riding injured?

Paturel did well in 250 class.

Never done much 450 from memory.

Big get off but it didn’t look like he was moving his lower body.

They replayed his crash so that might be a good sign he’s just banged up.

Any updates for Fernandez? That didn't look good, ugly crash and he didn't move much while on the ground.

Thanks for the clip. Any footage of t Ruben crashing?

Saw the above post that he had a big one but is moving all limbs and now has gone for further evaluation. Sounds like he is just banged up.

Coldendorf just passed Ruben in the points Championship and Vlaanderen is now only 26 behind Ruben.

I'm hoping Ruben lines up for moto two. It's good that the boys race for positions as it's never nice to see them miss points from injury.

Pretty sure he’s moving up next year. He’s had so many chances at a championship over all his years in MX2. Seems like his last chance is finally over now

Not yet, I hope that doesn't mean he got hurt.

He’s got a contract with the factory 450 Yamaha squad for next year.

After a big incident at the MXGP of Finland 🇫🇮, @rubenfernandez70 has been checked out by the doctors, and no major injuries have been discovered. As a precaution he will sit out the second moto and try to heal up for Sweden in two weeks' time.

I really thought that he would be World Champion this year.

Vlaanderen's deal is apparently up at the end of this year and I'm guessing Gebben would like to keep him but I really hope he gets a deal with a Factory ride.

Maybe Kawasaki has a re-think next year and gives him the ride.

Can't believe that for Geerts. Don't even feel like watching the rest of the season anymore

Lisa just interviewed a fellow from the Yamaha Team.

As posted earlier by Motocrossjunky, broken collarbone plus a "broken shoulder".

Fug Fug Fug Fuggedy Fug Fug.

He'd done so much to get right back into contention, and, it wasn't a "Geerts Moment" in any way.

As they / we say, S**t Happens, but too much S**t has happened to Jago.

I'd really hoped he could get the MX2 title, to take into his 450 career.

Everts leading...lets see if he can stay in front for the whole moto. Does he have it in him?

It's really sad to see him go out like this. Not his fault. Wishing him a speedy and full recovery so that he can come back strong on the 450 next year.
